Abdominal Pain near pancreas / Abnormal heart rate day after using Adderall

Last night I consumed 90mg of XR Adderall over the course of a night (starting at around 8pm and finishing the last dose at around 1am). I did not get any sleep and the experience was overall quite uncomfortable, not what I expected at all. I did not eat all of last night, and had a light lunch today. I have been experiencing some pain around my pancreas which started after my last dose, and has continued until today. At first I thought it may just be hunger pains, but after I ate some lunch and took a shower the pain persists.

Does anyone know if there is any link between Adderall and lower abdominal pain, possibly even pancreatitis? Gastrointestinal problems are pretty common for me, but never have I experienced pain in this area for such a prolonged period of time. I haven't been able to get a bowel movement going either, so it could possibly just be a bad case of constipation, but I dunno, doesn't sound like it.

My heart rate is still higher than normal as well. I took some laxatives and pepto bismol a little while ago, but I''m not sure if that's gonna do much. I'm kinda freaking out right now because I'm forseeing an embarassing but unfortunately necessary hospital trip due to the Adderall. If anyone has any input on my situation, I would greatly appreciate it. I would describe the pain as throbbing as well, not severe enough where I just can't take it anymore, but it's definitely there.

EDIT: Just read that some side effects of Adderall include constipation, abdominal pain, and high heart rate... I just don't know if/when this is gonna pass...
 
Calm down, you aren't the first greenlighter to post (even this week) because you did a little to much adderall and are freaking out. You're gonna be fine.

Yeah I apologize about freaking out and thanks for the reassurance... do you have any suggestions on riding it out besides drinking fluids / forcing myself to eat? I've seen some people say benzos/opiates but I dunno I'm worried about introducing more substances into my body...
 
yeah give it some time, that might just be gas, I've had pains like that persist. Don't panic whatever you do.

Thanks... I'm just gonna ride it out... have you also experienced a general tightness in the abdominal area as well? Just feels like nothing's going on down there atm, in terms of digestion/excretion.

You should be back to normal by tmorro or sunday, like i said in your other thread lol try taking some vitamin C , it makes the amphetamine leave your system faster, and take other vitamins if you have them.

Thank God lol... I was shitting my pants haha... this stuff just really doesn't agree with me I guess. I had tried both 30mg and 60mg doses in the past and had the same problems, just not as severe. Little to no Euphoria either. Seems like I just got all the negatives of amps and none of the positives.

Thats what happens when you take too high of a dose, you just get more negatives.. You need to find your personal dose over repeated use and experimenting usually :\

I had tried 30 and 60mgs prior though, wasn't really effective at all, just got all negatives (to a lesser extent).

Maybe, but not every drug is for everyone. I can't do dissacociatives for some reason.
 
I am dealing with the same issue, although I think mine is worst.

I've been prescribed on 10mg amphetamine for about 6 months and I have only noticed few side effects. My prescriptions directs me to take 2 a day, but yesterday I took 3 or 4 throughout the whole day.

Early in the day I felt a slight abdominal pain, but it went away after a while. When I took the last one I felt it come back, but stronger. I was in the library (I'm in college) studying in my spot and I didn't want to leave it to eat, so i procrastinated and I finally went eat (burger) and it seems as if the burger is not digesting. I couldn't sleep and I've been dealing with it since 12:00ish and it is now 10:00am.

So far I've taken MiraLAX, gas-x, and ex-lax....i know that's a lot of crap...and it has only gotten worse. Today was my busiest day of the week and I'm missing classes. I realize taking ex-lax during the day is not good and I'm not going to risk being in class when it hits. Please give me any advice as soon as possible....the pain seems to have only worsened and idk what to do.
 
Lie down in bed on your left side...find a comfortable position...

I've been rxed Adderall for 5 years up to 60mg/day...i've taken 200+mg in 24hrs before...the constipation sucks, but you have to remember if u dont eat much and don't stay hydrated you ain't gonna poo much.

Now, with that being said, if you genuinely miss your regular BMs on Adderall, you could try some things i've found that keep me regular:
1. Start and finish your day with a high-fiber meal/snack...at least 25 percent of your RDA for fiber (30+ is best.)

2. Drink plenty of fluids esp water.

3. Like already mentioned, some vitamin C (i take 2 sour gummy kiddie multi-V's) when coming down/before bed will help.

Finally, every time i've ever had gastrointestinal pain on Adderall it has NEVER once been due to constipation...Sometimes it is due to flatulence, sometimes its cuz a combo of spicy food, dairy, and adderall is a hellish smouldering laxative that churns and burns the depths of my bowel...all hellfire, brimstone and the like...never had pain from constipation tho...but with or without pain, Adderall constipation sucks!

Yeah I agree. I won't be surprised if the OP just gets to the point where he just quits the addy b/c of all the shitty side effects it has. I loved it @ first and eventually came to absolutely hate it & would never touch that crap again.
 
Thanks for responding! The pain was getting much much worse, so I went to the clinic on campus. They're somewhat of a joke clinic and they couldn't tell me anything, but she told me I should try the ER so I went.

When I got to the ER and got called to a nurse, I told her everything that happened. When I mentioned the three medicines I took (miralax, gas-x, exlax...yeah I know that's dumb and I didn't realize they were all laxatives) she told me I was probably hurting from taking all of those.

Later on when I saw the Dr., she was a bitch and immediately said the same thing as the nurse (about the laxatives). I told her that I felt the pain long before I took any of those so she said she would do an x-ray.

They did an x-ray and they said my appendix was inflamed and I would have to have an appendicitis.

The operation went smoothly and I'm so thankful I went in, because they told me it would have burst if I would have waited a few more hours. I was told that the adderall had nothing to do with my appendix becoming inflamed, so I'm glad that didn't come up.
