Misc one type of rig over another

ok, so Ive been hearing lots of talk that its hard to get syringes around Tucson even though you don't need a script. well I had had enough of dull rigs so today I went into walgreens and asked for some and received.

but what they gave me were single rigs, and they're the kind with the removeable needles. B-D brand with the precision glide needle. its the kind where if you twist the needle cap when pulling it off, the needle comes off with it.

I was just wondering if anyone prefers these over the regular walgreens kind in the bags. I just feel like they could have an air leak where the needle meets the rig.

I did notice that its easier for me to draw up my morphine without the needle on and then re-attach it. much quicker prep times!

I prefer insulin needles over luer locks for IV use. That's just me.

I do too, but this is what they gave me, and I ddin't want to fuck anything up. so I just made sure they were something that would work and then I got out of there.

Well I'm glad the needles you got worked, I haven't seen a small gauged luer lock (though on researchsupply.net I have seen 31g to 33g surprisingly though they are expensive).

I have no idea about the site you're talking about though, I only use that site because they are cheap and efficient. Slow though so you have to order in advance.
