This one is for all of my opio heads out there!

What do you guys think is the biggest bitch when it comes to these beautiful little buggers? The ridiculous amount that you are paying to get the buzz or the tolerance that just seems to hit so quick, that I guess makes the amount you're putting out go up?

I personally can live with how much money I spend on my high since if I wasn't buying some OC I'd be going out to buy an 8th of bud so it is the same thing in my opinion. But there is nothing worse than when you realize that what you've been taking just won't work for you anymore and you just wasted your money.

Any opinions?

Opiates are God's cruel wrath - Here, have the bets feeling you will ever experience while I wrap this lead around your neck and hack your bank account. I own you now, want to feel normal? Give me your money I'll give you normality.

Tolerance, no matter how well you attempt to spread out your doses it always increases and dramatically fast at that. Even with a large, constant supply of oxycontin I still couldn't avoid my tolerance getting out of control, dropping 80s and railing lines (I know it has a weaker bio-availability but at times we preferred a few lines to get a faster onset and harder rush) just wasn't the way to do it any more. Now after stopping my tolerance is nice and low and I can get slightly nodding on as low as 40mg.

Tolerance can be kept at bay, but we are talking by only using maybe 2-3 times a month. Any other usage will lead to tolerance and eventually spending more money. And I relized it hasn't worked for me for the last 2 years or so, but just made the jump to suboxone a couple months back. Now my costs are about 25$ a week, for 2 people.

Way back when, a 30mg roxi could last me all weekend. I'm on suboxone now, but if I wanted to use for one day, it would cost me +-70$ and that's not even to get a nod, just "high". But wait, my fiance would have to use as well then, so make that +-$140 for a single day of a shitty high. But in the height of my fiance's and I's addiction, $200 worth of oxy would last 1 day, maybe 1.5 if we were lucky, and like I said, that's not even close to getting a nod.

The money I have spent over that past 4 years on opiates is disgusting. I would say we spent near $75000 on drugs over that time frame, with no exaggeration. Fucking disgusting. That's life though, live and learn, and just keep looking towards the future and the better times ahead of us.
