with regards to the elephants... sad to say, apprantly/rumour has it there is someone out there in perth that is duplicating some of the stuff that is coming into perth, but putting crap into them so that the good ones get a bad rap, maybe a rival dealer who doesn't like competition?!. i have seen both the real elephants, and also what is supposed the be the fakes, i actually was given a few of the fakes to try/compare, but i don't take much cid nowadays, and the thought of taking something that might not be lsd doesn't appeal to me too much. the fakes seem to have dodgy ink, the picture is very pixilated(whereas the real ones are a crisp clean print) and the douchebags have done a really bad job with perforating them... instead of 4 tabs making a elephant, a part of the bottom of the elephant is cut off, and left on the tabs below. the real ones are NOT like this, they are perforated prefectly, these guys don't fuck around and don't do dodgy perfs, ever! i dunno what is happening, maybe these assholes are buying a sheet of the originals, and copying the image and then selling dodgy ones?!

the REAL pink elephants are great... they come from the same place as the sunshines, astros, mickeys, panthers etc. whoever the fuck is doing this obviously doesn't like the fact that someone else is selling good tabs, and has decided to try and run them out of business by ruinging their name!

be aware of this when buying tabs in perth in the future... it is not the first time they have done this, apparantly they also did it with the sunshines, leading to some people in perth thinking they were shit and filled with a dodgy RC!

it's people like this that disgrace the name of lsd, and do not deserve to be dealing with such a sacred chemical!

note/edit: as i said, i haven't had the so-called "dodgy" elephants, i have only seen them and compared the print on them with the real ones(one by the other, there was a definite difference in the print quality and perforations), and had also heard the rumours from other people. i wasn't too sure about it apart from the difference in print quality, but from what i am reading on here, there seems to be some merit to those rumours of dodgy dealers making dodgy copies. i have had the "real" ones tho, and they are DEFINITELY lsd, and they are good. they come straight from a trusted source, who was responsible for bringing the sunshines/mickeys/panthers etc to perth. as i was not keen to try something that might not be lsd(especially because i have access to what i know for sure is lsd), i passed the "fake" ones i was given onto a friend to try, who has also had the real ones. he said there was a definite difference, they gave him a sore stomach, felt weak/dirty and did not feel like lsd, or like the "real" elephants that he had before!

i do not claim to know for sure that someone is making dodgy copies... all i know is that the elephants(the real ones at least) are definitely lsd, and they are good!
 
Someone is doing it for profit. I wouldn't say they are trying to give a print a bad rep. They are just trying to profit off of well known prints by laying DO* chems which is very cheap and profitable in comparison to LSD

It has happened for many years and will continue to happen

indeed... and it sucks that people are doing it, lsd is a sacred drug, and should be left to work it's magic without crap like this tainting it's reputation!

might not be relevant or even true, but from what i have heard, these "fakes" ones in perth have come from someone who is known for sometimes sourcing their tabs from adelaide. and just from what i have read on bluelight over the last year or so, adelaide has a reputation for tabs adulterated with research chemicals?!

this is just an assumption, and has been made from my lurking on bluelight for many years. i'm sure there are decent tabs in adelaide too, but i have also heard/read that there is alot of crap! it is not too far out there to assume that maybe someone in adelaide is sourcing full sheets of what they know to be good and trusted lsd, and then pumping out a whole heap of dodgy ones for profit!
 
There seems to be a large number of DOI prints coming out of Adelaide over the years. All DO*'s are extremely cheap and available with ease in comparison to LSD. Back in the early 00's I used to source top quality blotter from Adelaide, but in recent times the city of churches seems to be lacking LSD and it's now awash with RC prints

I can't discuss prices here, but the profit margins would be in excess of 10 times that of LSD and that is being cautious with the math!

Karma does catch up to these bastards, I have seen a few people try to profit from this over the years and their lives have mysteriously gone pear shaped :)

indeed... lsd has taught me many lessons over the years, from complete death trips(which i attribute to my abuse/disrespect of the drug in the past), to learning/teaching me about why i had to experience the death trip, to conversations with and realisations of the higher being/self that exists within all of us. it would not surprise me in the slightest if lsd's influence reaches beyond the drug itself, to affect negatively the lives of those who wish to use other drugs/chemicals to profit from it's good name!!

but yes... the point to be taken from all this i suppose is, to know and trust your source. while some people may sell/deal good lsd most of the time, they might also be willing to sell/deal with stuff that is not lsd, if it comes along. this in my mind, is disrespecting the drug in which you supposedly respect so much. i only ever buy/deal with people that i know would rather not sell at all, than sell something that isn't lsd!
 
I was wondering if anyone in AusDD has experienced a flashback from their LSD use?
I've read about it, but haven't heard of any personl experience of it

For the most part, flash backs are pretty much old wives tales...

If I do LSD or any psych week after week, I will have slight visual disturbances in my peripheral vision in the days after the trip, but nothing like prohibition pushers would lead you to believe. This is known as HPPD (Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder)

Heavy use (or even one single dose) could possibly lead to psychosis in those who are predisposed to mental illness and this psychosis could lead to visuals, hearing voices and so on. This is mental illness, not LSD flash backs.

I don't recommend doing psychs more than once a fortnight. I was starting to go bat shit crazy after using every 3-7 days in 08/09. Constantly had slight visuals and could not concentrate during conversations and such. Not much fun and you lose the magic that psychs give when you abuse them.

Respect them and they will respect you
 
I've had what I'd consider HPPD but it's since gone away.
It got me thinking after having 2 trips in the space of about a week what negative consequences it could have for me.

I felt it coming on when I was tripping about once a month for close to a year
 
doesn't effect me as much as others.
i probably have more 5HT receptors.
get a decent effect out of 3-4,
I'd take at work or at high school in early days,
and nobody could really tell.
friends would start heavy hallucinations/paranoia/fits on 1/2 tab.
I don't take when "out" at all anymore, seems counterproductive.

supply ran dry, and was hard to source, expensive.
organic alternatives admirable.

Are flashbacks really old wives tales? It would not surprise me, look on wikipedia somewhere and there is a study where people who were given a placebo and told it was LSD blamed it for all sorts of problems they had long after the study, including paralysis!

Wikipedia is where I first heard about it as well, some of the stories and stuff I heard make it sound quite worrying :\
 
I've heard all the wives tales before I tried it. When I finally did research it myself I found it to be what the advanced users on the forum seem to convey.
 
the whole flashback situation isn't quite what you would think either, IMO. It's not a case of everything turning back to LSD vision, there's a lot more to it. You'll know when it's happening tough.
 
Question, just out of interest what exactly is family acid? i've heard it referred to on here and in real life a bit. Googled it but couldn't really find anything.
