Oral oxycodone to intranasal hydromorphone dosage

I take about 70mg of oxy IR orally, what intranasal dose of hydromorphone would I need to get similar effects?

None of them have intranasal figures though. I just tried out two convertors, one said 70mg oral oxy was equal to 23mg IV hydromorphone and one said 5mg. As you could imagine, this makes me very hesitant to trust them.

ah. Okay. no, yeah that is incorrect. You've never used dilaudid before I'm guessing. So, start low and work it up. You'll feel it rather quickly so you can always take more. Start with 4mg - you'll probably need 6mg-8mg. Search hydromorphone/dilaudid. There is a megathread, too. There may be some useful info in there.

Tolerance to dilaudid is developed DAMN fast, so take it easy. I used to love it, but not it's worthless to me (I don't IV).

Cool, thanks for the info! Yeah I've never used it before, and there's no way I'll inject pills so I think I'll pass on it.

Right on. Start with 4mg. For me that felt 'perfect' for about 2 weeks. Quickly turned to 8, then 16 (where I stopped). Definitely don't make using D's a regular thing as you won't really enjoy opiates at ALL soon enough - and that is not a good thing.

Enjoy for now though. Let us (me? haha) know what you think, how much you end up taking to 'feel it', general impressions.

Yeah I noticed that, too. The one with the outrageous amount of dilaudid I mean. That will kill someone if they follow it. 1 mg dilaudud=10 mgs oxy, assuming the dilly isn't eaten. Which would just be a waste.
