Are these all bad parents? Or are they just having some fun and makin a joke?
Anyways, dont think i am defending this broad and sayin that its totally cool to have a baby around a bong/drugs, etc. But just read wat I got to say before you start jumping to conclusions about this story.
I think that postin it on the web and taking the pic is terrible judgement, and the bitch had to know that she would catch shit for it if people noticed and it got into the media, BUT
Once they check out the baby, and if they find out that there wasnt marijuana in its system, big fuckin deal.
the mom has questionable taste. She has poor judgement. Those things might not make a great parent, but they aint illegal.
I wouldnt do wat she did, but at the same time I can see how a immature girl who sees the baby sitting by the bong might think, "haha, wouldnt it be funny if i took a picture making it look like he's hittin the bong?" Its a dumb idea, but kids do shit like that and think its funny. She probably thought it would be cute to take a picture of him. A baby that age would not know how to hit a bong and smoke the marijuana, and was probably just doing wat babies do--tryin to look inside it, or eat it, or wtfever. just a curious kid like most babies.
So the bitch sees him by the bong, putin his face by it tryin to see wat it is, and goes aw this is gonna be such a funny picture to put on my face book!
Like i said, it might be horribly stupid of her. its shitty judgement, and bad taste to do.
But, i really dont think she should face no charges other than maybe possibly have to take some parenting classes and go thru a evaluation to see how safe her home is, becuz a bong shouldnt be accessible to a baby.
You know, if your man and his friends were smokin weed, and you had the baby in the other room and once they left, before your man started cleaning up, you brought the baby out to the livingroom to eat some lunch, and the bong was still there and that whole scenario i described before came up, OK. That might happen, and it dont necessarily mean she is a bad mother becuz obviously she was watching the baby to be able to take a picture of him.
But if the bong is just sittin around with easy access for the kid to get into then god knows wat else might be layin around, then that is definately a issue.
The bottom line is that it really depends on WTF was actually goin on here, you know?
And we really dont know that so we cant judge.
If the baby aint got no marijuana in his system and it can get safely said that he did not get exposed to the smoke then I dont see the huge deal.
Like i said the girl should take some parenting classes and somebody need to school her about keeping her adult shit private from the babys area, if she gonna smoke weed (Which i really dont believe is such a bad thing to do when you got a kid, as long as you only do it once the baby is sleeping and you keep all the drugs and materials locked up safe away from the kid) you need to keep that away from the baby. That aint a big deal, and when i got kids someday I am sure that I will still be a weed smoker at night after shit settles down.
You just got to be responsible about it which I dont think this girl was really doing all that much.
In the end, i believe that if there aint no weed in the kid system, the house gets checked out and they dont find nothing else dangerous or incriminating, and the people who know the mom, neighbors, etc, can all vouch for her and say that shes a good mom and there aint no abuse or neglect goin on in the house, then i think its safe to say that damn, its only a picture.
Shit, the girl is 19, she is immature and dumb and prolly really dont know wat the hell shes doing.
Takin and posting the picture was a terrible idea, obviously but i dont think it NECESSARILY means that she is a bad mother or her kid should get took away.
We need more information to be able to tell that, so i dont think its fair of people to jump to judgement right away until they know the whole story.
she could be a totally careless, neglecting bitch of a excuse for a mother who only cares about partying and thinks giving babies drugs is cool.
Or, she could be a good mom who happens to be a pothead and just thought it would be cute/silly to take a PRETEND picture of the baby with the bong, one of those "ha ha" things like "aw, look, --hes gonna grow up to be just like his daddy! gettin into trouble already, that bad little boy!" and then everybody laughs and thats it. I mean how many people have took pictures with their kid holding their beer for them and been like haha--they know its a joke, the baby aint reallly drinking beer. People like to see pictures of babies doing adult type shit. they think its funny, its like human nature--jus think of those commercials for ameri trade with the babies on the cell phones, with the 20-somethin guys doin the voice over and pretending to talk for them.
People take pictures with their baby holdin a cigarette and sunglasses on, like "haha, look at that lil' badass"! it aint serious, its just a joke to them, they would never let their kid smoke the cigarette its just for fun, fuckin around. whether or not its in good or bad taste is up to the viewer but it sure aint illegal to do either one of those things, and its just becuz its a bong and marijuana got such a bad image , you know , a mom doin DRUGS around a BABY! that it gets all this fuss.
Until they release the report about the mom, check out the house, interview the other family members, test the baby for drugs, and get a better, wider picture of the parent skills of this girl, its a lil too early to crucify her for just taking a silly, stupid picture that wasnt meant to be no harm.
Kick things up a notch for the media.

And if this mother's going to be punished for doing this then I don't see any reason why the other parents shouldn't be given the same treatment
