The GOD of LSD

Doesn't work in the UK :!

What was it called? May be able to look it up elsewhere. Short documentary on the equivalent UK God of Acid (whose acid was found to be even purer than Sandoz-produced acid by Sandoz themselves) here for those that are interested and have half an hour to spare. Happened right where I live too - they used to drink in the local pub here :)

The man responsible for most of the worlds LSD was some random ass dude in the middle of EastBumbleFuck with a (candle stick >.> ) chemistry set.

Jesus, a pretty damn awesome chemistry set that is. I wish i had the will to get really good at chemistry, it's an awesome subject but seems like it takes a LOT of effort to get skilled at it.

I laughed when he did all that other math in his head rather quickly and then couldn't do Ten times Fourteen Million in his head. All you do is put one more zero on to make it a hundred and forty million. A hell of a lot simpler than everything else he did in his head lol.

Wow^^ Well it does say they never cooked in the silo, they were just storing the lab there.


Also, that fucking sucks for that guy. What an asshole, The one who fucked him APPROACHED the DEA with the information about the lab, he wasn't even asked or pressured into it...


And jesus he got two life sentences, so he's litteraly there until he dies. No parole.

I totally bet he gets acid smuggled in to him though

Sadly a much truncated version mostly just telling the police side of things. There is also a much better feature-length version and an even better three-part drama/documentary series on the same events with far more detail and balance. There are rumoured to still be viable stashes of Kemp's acid in the hands of certain old hippies around these parts and when that acid has been shown to be purer than any black market acid produced before or since anywhere in the world - and indeed purer than Sandoz' own pharm-grade acid - it would be rather nice to stumble across one of those ol' hippies. Might take a walk over the hills to the farm and take a spade with me sometime =D

Watched the full-length version of the clip posted (torrented mine but also available on the National Geographic site, I think) and was one of the more positive docs about LSD I've seen. Good stuff :)
 
Not to derail the thread, but all this talk of purity has me wondering, surely after you reach a certain level of purity it becomes irrelevant?

Say you've got something that's 95% pure LSD. Then next to it you've got 98.5% pure, and next to it you've got 99.9% pure.... I mean, really, _honestly_ could you even tell the difference in the trip?

Sorry to go off topic, but this case really pisses me off. If you read into it more, Skinner and Neuroslut girl actually kidnapped a young guy and held him hostage, injecting something into his dick that Skinner said would make it rot and fall off (guessing some ergot compound). The lab wasn't even set up at the silo yet, Skinner set the lab up under the instruction of government agents, so they could obtain probable cause for a warrant on a walkthrough. Before they got the warrant they moved around a ton of shit and set everything up. This all was confirmed in the testimony of government agents. Pickard should be free solely on the grounds of the misconduct by the government.

Wow, that Pickard guy really did produce a helluva lot.

I'm d/ling the documentary and streaming the one Shambles posted. both look pretty good watches - cheers guys.
