lmfao. When ever someone says "E" I always think of the drug haha. I was laughing too when Kobe said that. I think all of "us" were.
 
Its my understanding- Like I'm really some expert- try to avoid tabloids, ect... but among the Hollywood party scene the drugs of among the lohan, Hilton, ect...party crowd are alcohol, coke, E, and xanax/klonopin, buds of course. Heroin and meth and crack are drugs that are embraced by the harder drug enthusiaest as well as more esoteric sedatives. I read a story thats probably an urban legend about purveyors of narcotics that cater to the rich and famous and carry around sample cases with rare to find drugs like opium and seconal/ methaaqualone, 2Cb, ect...

The day LSD enjoys a reneaissance is the day the quality of films and music are going to corresponding renaissance in film and music.
 
A lot of songs espeically hip hop IMO have referance's to "ecstasy", weither or not they actually use it I have no idea.

But to add to what someone else said, I agree weed is the most talked about drug in music then cocaince or ecstasy. I'd go with coke because a lot of old rock songs amd such sing about it.

Also, I'm pretty sure the word "thizz" was first used to describe MDMA/methamphetamine-adulterated pills. Now, though, it's just another name for E to most.

Eminem used to take a few hits of E everytime he performed. His body guard wrote a book describing how he would wake up and take E for breakfast... and now what do you know hes a depressed mess. Sometimes i wonder if E is the culprit, obviously he has other this going on tho. heres a line from one of his old songs drug ballad

Artists have been talking about drugs for a long time. X is popular now, so the younger gen. artists use it. In the future as drugs change so will their users and the music about them.

I read that in 2001-2002 when Christina Aguilera was going through her dark depressive days she tried beans a couple of times cause she was hanging around the wrong crowd. There's a new song on her album called "Birds Of Prey" and one part of the lyrics goes "Taking a blue only made you cry...and all that the red pill did was make you forget why".. Ecstacy is no better than tHiZz imo. Ecstacy can mean anything from MDxx to MDx to amphetamines to caffine.

At least most people know what ecstasy means. People who talk about "thizz" or "thizzing out" make me feel like everyone who does mdma is an idiot.

And to OP I know what you mean, most artists stay away from talking about illegals besides weed, but I hope that E will become more open and more information about it will get out.
