Snoo⁴ - Sexy Sick Snoo

Not open for further replies.
Went to get my next tattoo priced up today. I want one on my inner left wrist to even out the one on my right.

After having a chat with the guy who'll be doing it, I decided I trust him and it I'm going to get it done (probably Friday or next week - Unless I get moved to Bristol tomorrow!!!!!!! I'm keeping everything crossed, even my eyes!) to mark some positive changes I've gone through recently.

The actual tattoo is an idea i've had for aaages but was waiting for the right time to do it.

I'm snoo happy today. Which is another positive step in the right direction too!

What a lovely snoo Cherry <3 So positive! Thank you for that, it's made me snoo just reading it %)

Is the design a secret or will you share it?

I've found more random snoo today than I have in ages. Small steps.

My other snoo is my friend. Who also is having a pretty okay day. A change for both of us.

I'm glad my snoo makes you snoo.

I've decided to get the quote "Cherish, Conserve, Consider, Create" written in a spiral. It'll end up being quite large to fit the words in, but I don't mind. One on my other wrist is 2 inches across, and three inches up my arm.

The quote is the title of a film about Lou Harrison, a composer who composed music for instruments made out of junk! I love him :) My fave jazz/classical piano player Keith Jarrett also fell in love with the quote and said it was his motto.

Oh, I also got a shipment of home made cookies, which are delicious, and cd's filled with films snoo in the post today from a friend, which made me smile too! <3

^Post pics when it's done. :)

My snoo's a bit simpler. I found a tenner on the street after getting lost on my way back from a work-related course. :D

Which
btw I ended up getting slated for on my return. Apparently it's not the done thing to go wearing pink Converse to these things. Up ya fookin' arse, it's only retail!. Anyway, I did find that tenner, so there's a light at the end of every tunnel. :D

Aww thank you for sharing - that's a lovely quote and talented musician and I'd really like to see how it's designed. With imagination and talent I'm sure it can be as big or small as you like!

Anytime I've posted my artwork in SO (and i have a tendency to do work in ink with pencil colours these days) people have commented I should be a tattoo artist :) That's surprised me!

Maybe I have an undiscovered career opportunity out there *shrugs*

Really chuffed snoos are coming your way - knew they would, you deserve em :D

And thank you for sharing them <3

Perhaps you do! I've seen some of your drawings, the delicate line work would lend itself to tattoo design very well.

One time at a rock night in Newcastle when I was 24, I met a forty something ex punk who was a tattooist. He was living in a homeless shelter, fighting his hardest to rebuild his life and get his kids back.

I wasn't so stable myself at the time, so he took me under his wing, used to tell me off for drinking too much, made sure i'd eaten as I was skint, and was going to teach me the skills to become a tattooist. He actually did the tattoo on my right wrist, after I designed it. He said I could practice tattooing on his legs until I got confident (He'd drawn designs all over himself) but I never did.

I lost touch with him, but I found out that he managed to sort himself out and got access to his kids. That makes me happy.

Aww that's another memory snoo :)

Nowt wrong with pink cons!

Finding money! Perfect snoo, I always find money when I need money, Haven't for a good few months though. Last time was on the floor at the bar at a psy trance night. Perfectly folded up tenner, clearly straight out of some star gazing persons pocket. I was sooo skint though, so needed it.
Other time was Christmas Eve a couple years ago, had been scraping by to afford Christmas, then found 20 quid on way home from work! Went and spent it on Christmas eve nibbles and champagne!

Is your avatar Kristen Stewart, as in The Runaways film? I NEED to see that film! That's made me listen to some Joan Jett =D

It seems you have to dress to impress even at a flamin' course. I've never been into that shite. I'm more of a take me as I am kinda person. I can't be arsed. Jeans and Converse never offended anybody before. :D

I seriously can't remember the last time I found money before this. I have a habit of finding bags of weed in gutters and stuff though. That's London for you. :D

T'is Kristen Stewart, yeah. I was waiting patiently for it's release, but I think I missed it. I wanted to go to the cinema for that one too. Oh well, I'll have to rent it I guess.

Not much of a fan of needing to 'dress up' either like. Got a wedding coming up, got fuck all to wear. My shoes have went AWOL, my dress trousers no longer fit and my shirts are past their best. I don't really have money to spare to be spending £100+ on all the trousers, shoes, shirt, tie etc especially on stuff I'll wear once in a blue moon but if I don't go to the wedding I'll piss loads of family members. :|

^^ I thought it was.

Aye, I missed it too, but I don't think it even got a big release, more one for the smaller cinemas I think.

I'll have to settle for small screen too.

I've never managed to find drugs. Left pretty much a full G of cocaine on a phone box shelf in London once after being out all night on many other substances. That'll teach me for being too eager! We were too fucked to remember to pick UP the drugs on way out of phonebox! It was shite coke anyway, but I'm sure we'll have made somebodies morning.

I went shopping for a suit with a mate recently. After both of us had been up on MDMA and Mephedrone all night. It was an experience I can tell you that!

He needed a suit for a funeral, but didn't wan't to have to pay through his nose. Managed to get him one from a charity shop, for 20 quid and it was a decent label too.

I'm in the same predicament. A girl at work's getting married, and she really wants me to go (she's lovely too, so I feel bad for even questioning it). But I dunno what the fuck to wear!. I don't mind spending a bit of cash, but you won't catch me in a dress. I think most of the others are trying to get me to go so they can ridicule me some more. I just roll with the punches, me. :D

Yeah, translation - "I know your taste in wiminz". :D

The worst ones are when you know you have the drugs, but don't know where. Then end up tearing the entire room to pieces only to discover it was in the first place you checked all along. Usually your pocket. :! :X :D =D

Charity shops and ones selling "retro gear" are great for bargain suits. One of my favourite linen summer suits comes from the latter - love it and it's a unique designer piece :)

however, I know work can be funny if you don't turn up in the expected corporate uniform :|

I wore one of my favourite eh "colourful" summer frocks n' cardi today into the office, fantastic wedge trainer like wedge sling backs to clash too =D - no appointments, so thought what the fuck it cheers me up - and got so many nice comments about my outfit :D but you could see my boss cringing hoping I wouldn't turn up at a formal meeting turned out like that :|

Off course I wouldn't - I know how to play the game :| alas... hiding the real personality and not letting it leak trough the visuals would be the professional death of me. Sad eh :!

Suppose wearing my sunny sun frock was my snoo today :D

Ha! Totally!

She is a bit hot!

Yum! Sexy trainers.

I tried on and nearly bought a pretty summer dress today. I decided not to, but I realised that I don't hate myself in dresses, so one shall be purchased soonly!

Haha, I love frocks and have quite a collection though most of them could be titled "not suitable for middle aged woman wear" They feel great, so feminine and cheerful, the swish, movement of fabric, the cut, the colours, so eye catching and attractive to others %) all round snoos ;)

You are so beautiful, I'd love to see you in one of your choice - doo-it =D

Ack, as long as they feel good, they make YOU feel good with every swish and move of yourself then it matters not what is considered suitable. I never care what is suitable, I know you don't either :)

Ah, you're so nice, but thank you. I shall buy one and maybe show you....maybe.

I've found a pair of dress trousers for £20 that look alright and have ordered them, will buy a shirt and borrow a tie. Not shelling out for a suit I'll never wear. Don't really do the whole charity shop thing and the chances of getting a well fitted second hand suit are slim probably. I hate big formal events and being expected to dress in a certain way. Not my thing at all. 8)

You'll do fine in dress trousers and a shirt. It's so simple for boys!

I hate formal dos too.

That's why when I get married I shall be wearing a retro wedding dress probably restitched into something less wedding ish(Or my mothers dress, made into something less 1970's) and Dr Martin boots! Oh yeah!

I don't even want to go to the wedding, I totally resent having to spend money on clothes to go to it.
