FIFA World Cup 2010 Feat. The Darling Harbour big screens = good time Event

Ghana made the final of the Africans Cup without him so they still have plenty of quality. Plus they will have a full stadium of Africans cheering them on.
 
Well, whatever the hype is right now, I bet it will soar as soon as we have a decent win under our belts in this world cup. I gotta agree with ch0psy ^^ we Aussies love underdogs, so the moment we're facing a team like Germany, support should be massive! (at least, I hope so!)

I saw all the screens and stuff down there the other day and was wondering how it was all going to work....I really dont care even though soccer is prob my favourite team sport, though I do wish the Aussies good luck.....AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!!!!*Puts hand behind ear*

i went down there at lunch today... it does look awesome, and you can just pick up walking around the atmosphere is going to be awesome, not only for the aussie games, but all of them.

My issue was the big screen that sits in the water, there isnt all that much room for these 30,000 people...

i love body warmth as much as the next fat guy, but i think i'd rather wake up just before the the game, at my place, throw on the uggies on and sit on a comfy couch.

being the patriotic moron i am, im going for Australia win 1-0, they will get an early goal in the 2nd half, im looking at Culina to surprise
 
yeah the water screen has very little space, maybe they spun it towards the bridge more, where they can fit seats. the area in tumbalong park is much nicer and bigger.

and about culina, i remember when he got his first shot with sydney croatia with his dad as coach. ikf he wins the match, that would be more kinds of awesome than i can describe.

i'm up too, but for the opposite reason. i haven't gone to bed yet. with benefit and UAN next door, we had a blast. prolly will be dead asleep before the game starts in a few seconds. hey choppers...man....zzzzzzz
 
I was thinking of it Impacto but then I walked outsiude. Its bloody cold away from the fire.

I brought a projector but its set up outside in the man cave, I might bring it in and make a temp screen.

At this stage I am heading down there for the event. I will be honest and admit though that it is going to take a great deal of intestinal fortitude to hold back from pulling out of this thing when its freezing like a mofo and I'm making my way along Sussex Street.

I am working on building a zen-like state of mind.
 
Those bloody horns need burning. I would hate watching the games live and being surrounded by those things. Poor form.

aye its awesome mate.

Umm I didnt know Hugh had one, mine is a bit rough but contains a genuine coin slot pool table, L shaped bar and the projector and screen.

I have a couple of gas heaters but even they are struggling atm.
