Hahahaa thats really funny cos i had done the same except i stopped doing that cos i got tired of it and was too much work keeping on track and up to date. Theres about 8-9 chemists around my area in about a 1km radius so i just hit each one every 2-3 weeks LOL.

Its gettin quite expensive too tho. Oh by the way theres a new cold and flu capsules out which has the usual ingredients plus codeine which isnt even behind the counter so u dont have to consult / talk with any of the docs/staff there. Its quite costly tho. Has 9.8mg of it in a capsule along with dxm and others. Seeing that dxm is a slightly water soluble people who like to combine the 2 mite want to look into it. Im not a fan of DXM but for others it can be good.
 
I've got 18 on my list :| I was surprised by how many there were, but with the local shops, the shopping centre just down the road a bit, the stretch of shops near school and all the pharmacies in the city, it adds up I guess.
 
I don't need a list I got the memory of an elephant when it comes to pharmacies I have hit. :p

In all seriousness though I am generally pretty good at keeping track, although due to laziness or limited financial means I have been careless with visiting certain pharmacies too often. I thought about the diary but never got around to it.

Theres shitloads of pharmacies, I live in an outer suburban/rural area and theres 5 within 2 or 3 minutes driving. Theres about 4 near my TAFE that I go past regularly and many others I go past regularly in my usual runs.

This thread is turning into a bit of a codeine social. I was thinking that maybe we could replace the many CWE threads with a FAQ about CWE codeine and OTC products. Thoughts?

I got word of a product in Australia that maintains a 50/50 divide of codeine/decongestant.

It's one of the Telfast products that's just psuedo & codeine. The blue one? I think?


Can anybody confirm/deny this?
 
No such thing exists in Australia, at least to my knowledge.

We have Pseudoepehdrine decongestans's that are typically 30mg Pesudo, 12.8mg Codeine + 500mg Paracetemol. Sometimes they add caffeine as well.

I've never heard or come across one with equal amounts of Pseudo and Codeine.
 
^ Yeah that doesn't exist, Sameria is right about the codeine and pseudo med you can buy. I don't even know if Telfast sells a codeine containing product... or a pseudo one for that matter?

As for the diary thing, I got that idea after I met up with an old BL'er once. His girlfriend drove us around at night visiting pharmacies, he kept the diary in the car and she went in and got everything. Was weird but cool.

I believe a Codeine FAQ is a good option. You can submit idea's to the moderator's by PM
