Finding drugs outside of a Phish show?

I've never been to a Phish show but I'm visiting some friends in Chicago this weekend and we're going to see Phish on Friday night at Toyota Park, hoping for an epic night. I can't wait. Anyways they can't find any LSD right now so we're gonna try to buy some in the parking lot but none of us have ever done this before..how difficult is it to get quality stuff? We're also gonna try to find a few caps of molly too. We'll have plenty of weed. Someone told me to go to the area with all the tents and people will literally approach you and ask. Is this true? We don't look sketchy or anything by the way. Just looking for some advice for people who have been there and done this. Thanks!! :)

What? Are you trying to say don't buy anything at the show because there will most likely be a lot of cops on the lot?
 
Finding quality stuff is difficult if you're buying from strangers, especially with drugs that can easily be bunk (blank paper sold as acid, etc.). Not to mention risky, given that there must be hundreds of plainclothes LEOs dressed as hippies at those shows.
 
the "lot" tends to vary from city to city, some are relatively free of cops or at least free of cops busting heads, but some places, particularly in smaller cities, the cops keep a pretty close eye on things. I'd imagine Chicago PD has bigger fish to fry than a few hippies tripping acid & huffing nitrous balloons, but you never know. And yes, people will blatantly offer drugs, sometimes they're good, sometimes not. Don't know if this type of thread is allowed though, its kinda borderline...
 
just tell them to fax you the LSD before the show so you don't have to wait.
