Hey guys i looked everywhere and google to try to find the answer to this question and was considering just "risking it" but i finally decided that its better to be safe than sorry so here it is

Do opiates and salvia mix (opana BTW)?
I have read a few horror stories of going into instant withdrawals when combining the two and needed to know for this weekend if i should not take my painkillers while on salvia or if i should stay clean the whole day of or even not take the
salvia at all.

i don't really want to take any significant amount of the opana while on the salvia i mean i'm not trying to get high from the opiate but i will most likely want it for my chronic pain or a mild buzz

i take 10mg INSTANT RELEASE opana(oxymorphone) tabs and i take 3 a day 1-3 at a time and the half life is 6hours and the real half life is 4.5-5hours

i generally take 1/2-2 for my pain and 3 if my pain is excruciating or if i want to get high(im prescribed 1 at a time 3 a day BTW)
oh and i take orally

so i guess the short and sweet version is Can i take my opana(orally) with the salvia(smoked) and if i cant how long do you guys think is good to wait after the opana before smoking the salvia and how long after smoking salvia should i wait before taking the opana? and yes i am PHYSICALLY addicted meaning if i stop taking it i will get withdrawls within several days

thanks guys i cant wait to hear your comments and will tell you how it went when its over

I do not remember where I read this, but I have read that salvia can be used to overcome opioid dependence.

Opiates always blocked the effects of Salvia completely for me. No instant withdrawals, just no effect whatsoever. From what I've read that's fairly common but there are also those who can still use Salvia effectively. I've not heard of it causing precipitated withdrawals myself. Salvia affects the kappa opioid receptors so it makes sense that they would interact but doesn't seem to be a solid consensus as to what those interactions are most likely to be. Only one way to find out really...

So i tried the salvia it was 100X and me and my friend who does not take opiates didn't see anything basic all that happened is we both felt "loose/wobbly" and i laughed for like 5 min uncontrollably and had the feeling you get when you think somethings hilarious but it was totally unprovoked not like something that normally is not funny made me laugh i just randomly started laughing really hard for like 3-6 minutes

Youll definitely see something if you take a big rip from a bong, you need more smoke to get into your lungs at once, youll definitely be blasted into salvia-land!
Anyway, I've had bupe completely block 60x salvia before but why would you mix salvia and opiates?
