m-Butylone

I just received some m-butylone and am looking for some more information on it before I try it. The usual searches have given next to nothing but that's not surprising seeing as it is a very new RC to the market. All I could find were a couple of positive mentions of it from other people here, but no other information.

Does anyone have any more info on it? I really liked butylone but it was of course made illegal recently in the UK, hence why I decided to purchase m-butylone.

I also received some recently because i enjoyed Doves, great product give it a go.
 
no one has any idea what it really is.

i'd rather stay away from some unknown mystery chemical, which i don't know the structure and much less the effects, side effects and safety profile for.
with substances like 6-APDB or MDAI there's at least some research and having the structures know is allowing us to extrapolate some properties from comparing similar compounds.

but if your idol is Barry Kidston, then go ahead and try some!
 
Swim has just sniffed a line of about 0.1g after doing 1g of dimethocaine and will keep you updated.
 
Swim has since done another line of about 0.2g and is now feeling a buzz. A relaxing but sensual buzz and eyes are rolling to. A nice buzz to experience in a relaxed place. Swim says it is a nice buzz but isn't speedy. Swim loves Dubstep and is feeling the rhythm like a dancer, it is a soul companion...u can feel it everywhere!!! 10/10 for chattin shit so all good!!
 
^^ ugh, that didn't take long to find. It's being advertised rather blatantly as a "stronger version of the recently banned Butylone but in fully legal form" by a questionable vender.

It's venders like this that are making me stock up and put what I can in the deep freeze.
 
Mmm, i'm a bit hesitant on this. A quick search brings up two sites (one registered in Lithuania, one registered to a 'non-trading uk individual' so probably not the same vendor).

The only thing that concerns me, is generally things pop up on wholesale sites prior to vendor sites. I can't find this on any wholesale sites. It could possibly be under a different name though.

I can only find one mention of it on this forum though, but he does sound genuine

I'ma leave this 'til it crops up a bit more, or until i get paid :p

Edit: Maybe not after that Barry Kidston reference :o

The 2- and 5- methyl derivatives of butylone are known and are both active, but the 2-methyl is slightly less potent than butylone by weight, only the 5-methyl is more potent, so if this m-butylone is more potent than butylone as stated then it would presumably have to be the 5-methylbutylone, i.e.

1-(3,4-methylenedioxy-5-methylphenyl)-2-methylaminobutan-1-one

On the other hand though what they are actually selling as "M-butylone" could be almost anything with the dodgy state of RC vendors now days...

Also 5-methylbutylone clearly falls under the catch-all ban on cathinones in the UK, so if this is someone's great idea for a legal replacement for butylone they should read the law more closely!

It's probably some random RC that feels like butylone, in the opinion of the vendor.
 
why isnt anyone ruling otu the vendor just selling actual butylone with a new name, to get rid of old stock?

For the same reason UK vendors aren't selling mephedrone to get rid of old stock. :\

Anyway, I'm going to try out this M-Butylone this evening so will report back.
 
I really don't want this to sound rude or anything but just out of curiosity why do we (PD) get all the empathogen/stimulant threads? wouldn't ED be more suitable?

Again sorry I really don't mind I've just been wondering this for a while.:)

because we're a nicer, more knowledgable bunch than the e-tards in ed ;)=D

a better place would probably add, but if you leave a rc thread over there it'd become illegible to most people interested in the chemical in at most 5 posts ;)
 
ADD is full of highly educated chemists/pharmacologists even though they may not have papers. They are great to have around to answer the serious questions about what's being done in the body but as Black said, 95% of people who come to BL for drug info aren't going to be able to understand anything of what they're saying.

PD gets all the RC stuff because we seem to be the ones who are into researching and reading up on new chemicals on the market. Also I have to say that empathogens are a definite subcategory of psychedelics; they produce some serious mind manifesting effects in people. There's no way someone who has had a true MDMA experience can call it a non psychedelic.

I do agree that the stimulant stuff can go by the way of OD; it really isn't relevant to psychedelic drugs.
 
eh...id say MDMA isnt psychedelic IMO..but its not stimulant or any other class either. MDMA didnt make me trip like acid is what i mean.
 
well yea but it didnt put me in a trippy mindset. if anything, similar to the mindset of the 2Cs ive tried, but nothing like an acid or shroom mindset IMO.
