blue result with mandelin on white powder

hi all,

i just got these supposively mdma crystal from a mate to test it out.

took out my mandelin, gave it a shake and put on the plate. It turns blue in about 10seconds.


never seen this colour before. maybe someone has seen this result before please lend a hand !


just tested an old pill of mine from the same mandelin, turns to good old dark purple

Probably a research chem of some variety. From memory mephedrone has a similar reaction to amphetamine, so I doubt it's that. Maybe methylone or similar?

I've no idea.
 
This is very similar to the colour change reported with beige blanks tested with Marquis reagent. I'd sure like to see this stuff lab tested.
 
A mate had the same thing on the weekend. Didn't eat any though for obvious reasons. Which city/state did you get it from?
 
Yeah good luck finding MDMA in adelaide :/ It's absurdly dry here right now
 
Neither MDMA nor MDA will produce a blue only coloured product. There are a few things mentioned in the literature, but imo it would be very unlikely that these substances would be in pills.
 
Looks like the stuff I had in London in Feb... quite white. I didnt test it though but I consumed it. I felt good for like 2 hours then felt sick to the stomach. Pipe rocks perhaps?

This is some locally sourced "Meow Meow" I did a whole gram of this in one night, over about 9- 10 hours and I was fine the next day. I dont feel like eating tuna nor did I pose like a cat on the lawn and have bad side effects for a month!

hmm.. i've seen MDA react blue-dark blue/black reactions... in 04' i witnessed this

With which reagent/s? Did you have any other way of confirming it was MDA - melting point, etc? Thing is, all the literature on reagent reactions reports some purple-black after the blue is observed with both Marquis and Mandelin. That's with MDMA, and MDA reports don't mention blue at all. In all the years I was involved with reagent development, I never heard about a blue only reaction for any MDXX compound.

Anyway, from the above post, headdah's sample didn't turn black, so it definitely doesn't look like MD.. anything.
 
snorted this blue reacting shit earlier heres the timeline.

620 snorted the point - painful burn, almsot like 2cb'ish but the burn does not linger like 2cb. pain was gone within min.

625 things almost look like they are flickerring. not eye wobbles just flikerring

640 light to medium rushes happening this gooes on for about 15-20min. Music sounds good, got a light smile on my face, not gurning, eyes pretty big,

700 light rushes stopped, almost feels like back to baseline.

What ever it is, its a very short high.

Now i'm just waiting for side effects, hoping there is none haha.

i've had my fair share of 4mmc bro. this stuff is not the same high.

4mmc when snorted is more of a amp'd up meth/gearry high.

did not experience any of that.

and no, didn't pay anything for the tester :)
 
its aight. def need a higher dosage i guess. or less cutter in shit haha.

i can clearly see it was cut with msm etc.

but yeah if its as cheap as 4mmc used to be i'll get some and hammer it a few weekends.
but sadly, its been pawned off as "mdma" so the price that goes with it is XXXXXXXXXXX. so yeah. NEGS ON IT

back on the good old YOUR LOVE IS COLD AS ICE i guess.
 
Maybe dimethocaine? There was some going around Adelaide earlier in the year
