I'm waiting to hear back about a job that offers better pay, better conditions, room for career growth and funnily enough, is in the construction industry - maybe your stroke of luck is a good sign for me!!
The Smashing Pumpkins (well Billy Corgan and some assorted teenagers pretending to be the band) are apparently going to tour South America and Australia this year :D
That's all you need to be honest. They fucking rocked the last time I saw them in 2008.
I saw them in 1993 and the whole group were just a bunch of moody Daria's to be honest. At least now days Billy is a little happier and even looks like he is enjoying himself on stage.
I happened to ask a bloke I am friendly with that I see at the pub every now and then if he had a tow bar that he had wrecked to suit my Fairmont. He did, and I spent the afternoon with him installing it today. Genuine ford, virtually mint for cheaps as chips. Couldn't be happier.
Now I just have to find a registered trailer for a steal
Tomorrow is my last day at work before heading on my overseas adventure. I'm glad I finally have a decent excuse to resign from this job *Hopefully* it will be the last day I work in this industry as well, because I feel I've done all I can in my current line of work. Although, it is somewhat bitter-sweet to leave people I've seen almost every day and grown to love over the past 3+ years. Seeing as how I work in a 'care' job, with people worthy to care about, I feel I'm allowed to be something of a sentimental fuck tomorrow
BUT after 5pm, I shall have my party pants on, and will probably proceed to get shamelessly wasted at my going-away party. Yay.
And I got corporate seats at origin 2 this coming wednesday night as well as a pre & post game function at suncorp stadium.
premium package or some such, it does say premium food and beverages on the invite
