About to test my DXM tolerance after two years

So its been over two years since I stumbled upon this site, and tinkered with my first drug, DXM.

Those two years have been a real wonder.

Long story short though, after probably about 20-30 DXM trips I hit the serious wall of tolerance. A few months later, I tried 4-meo-pcp, and still noticed tolerance in general to dissociatives.

Were now about 8 months removed from that 4-meo-pcp experience, and 14 months removed from my last DXM experience.

I stumbled upon DXM syrups here in Peru just peering over a counter. And so for a whopping price of 10 soles, I have enough to put me at 6.75mg/kg. If it doesnt work xanax is gonna put me to bed... Lets see what happens.

Also, do they have the same brands of medicines as they do here in the states?

And no they dont. Generally speaking you have to just ask for a chemical by name and see what you get. Literally i bought two different brands of syrup. Ironically the one was twice the size, and cost half as much. I had to go to two places.

Typically medicine here is dirt cheap in general. You just have to try to figure out the spanish name of stuff, which a quick google can do. Then from there its hit or miss on if they have it. Every place is just random.

Usually though there are much more simplified versions. Hardly anything is a mix. For instance both of these were DXM only preps.

And as far as this trip goes...

So far feeling kinda funky. Were at like T+45 and I know DXM takes a while to kick in. Im gettin that kinda fuzz when I look at stuff. I really hope this works. I miss the stuff. I hate the tolerance. You'd like to think over a year off of it is sufficient.

DXM tolerance seriously sucks.

This is a bit off topic, but do they require prescriptions to buy pharmaceuticals in Peru? I know they don't in Mexico and Niceragua, basically in every part of Latin America I've been to in fact. But I've never been to South America, I've always wanted to go to Peru though. Hope you end up tripping hard as shit tonight, I'm currently off dissassociatives for a few reasons, but tolerance is definitly one of the main ones. The experiences just stopped being fun and lost all their flare for me one day. I haven't done DXM for about a year now.

Peru requires no scripts for almost anything. Except for animal meds (for you ked-heads), painkillers, and hardcore sleeping meds. I can buy 5mg of xanax for 35 cents US.


Anyway it was by all means the most bizarre DXM trip I ever had. It wasnt as strong as times in the past though. So I can honestly say I still think I have some tolerance.

Mentally I wasnt completely DXMified, there was just not that exact mindset. Physically also, all the effects just felt, turned down a bit.

Unique to my last dissociative trial, the 4-meo-pcp, the effects peaked hard at first, and then declined. Although a solid wave came at T+4hr.

I found this trip to also be very sad and I was really kinda in a very depressing trip, although it was simply revealing truths and I found it to be a positive thing overall.

However, it just didnt have that magic or enjoyability that it used to. Im willing to say my tolerance seems improved since the last time I did DXM, but not immensely.

It could also be that your metabolism has just changed in the intervening years - we're all getting older, our bodies are changing, etc...

I know for me, 6.75mg/kg wouldn't be earth-moving either, and i've only done it less than 10 times... sometimes you just need more i suppose? You're far more experience with it than me though, so who am I to say really

Peru sounds fantastic. Extremely cheap cacti, extremely cheap medications, local shamans/ayahuasca rituals. What more could you want?

And I think while the metabolism change is possible, i used to ALWAYS do about 6.5mg/kg, that was my usual dose. Rarely did I do more. And I had much more moving earth shattering trips with that.

In addition, I was doing that amount at a higher weight, of course I scaled up my dose to match, but I've lost a lot of weight now and I would kinda think it would be somewhat more effective. But whatever.

My last few dex trips before my break started also tended to be very dark, with one trip that was a severe breakdown, although that wasn't just the dex, it was dex + datura (yeah, I know, it was a dumb idea). But the last few trips were missing something, and a bunch of them were pretty dark. The euphoria was also very lacking, if it was there at all for my last 10 or so trips. I wonder if there's a specific reason for both of us experiencing more depressing trips when using with tolerance, or if it's just coincidence.

I was asking more about the painkillers, I don't do benzos but I do love me some opiates. In Mexico nothing requires a prescription, from adderall to morphine to ketamine, especially in the border towns. In some border towns the economy seems almost based on pharmacies, a lot of people in Southern Texas buy all their meds from Mexico because it's much cheaper and you don't need to always have a script, which is handy. It's super cheap too, like, 10 bucks per bottle for opiates (that's from a few years back, but 1 dollar still equals ~9-12 pesos). I'd still love to go to Peru someday, pills or no.
