I have been taking large amounts of benzos for thirteen years. I started take suboxeone three years ago but it took me a long time to get off of them because of my depression issuses. At the urging of my addiction specialist I eventually weened myself off of the benzos and realized that was a mistake. I need to be on them but I had gone two months without them. When my addiction specialist (who had taken over for all my meds due to my psych. getting a different job) refused to even talk to me when I called to try to get him to represcribe me benzos I got angry and told him I wouldn't need his services any more.

A little later I got my physician to prescribe me 4 mg of klonipin a day after telling him what I'd been through. I flew through those due to the sub withdrawl and he still prescribed me a little more. I ran out of that 2 days ago and don't have an appointment with physician for another week. Even then I'm not sure if my insurance will let me refill untill two weeks.

I ran through my benzos in 13 days after not taking them for 2 months and it I'm going through those withdrawls all over again. Anyone been through something similar and know what I should do to get through this easier.

you have to talk through this with your doctor, other than that we could tell you all the personal experiences we've been through and at the end of the day it doesn't help you.

my advice is if you've ran out early with benzodiazepines is that you go to the ER and tell them what's happened and they'll likely give you a small supply till you can see your dr.

general discussion like this belongs in Basic Drug Discussion so i'll move it over there so you can get some replied

sorry, still learning the ropes of this place. I should be fairly okay because I've had to go through the withdrawls much worse before its just now is a really stressful time in my life to have to do it. I don't sleep much as is and this doesn't help at all.
