Alcohol to potentiate other drugs?

Do you think I could take a small sip (shot glass full?) of beer to potentiate a drug that I don't have very much of? For instance - If I had only 100 Milligrams of Tramadol (I would normally take 300 MG. Maximum dosage I would be comfortable with and that is recommended 400 MG), do you think I could take a small sip of beer to boost the effects "safely"? Or another example - Instead of doing the usual (I'm making this number up) 4 lines of cocaine, I take 1 big line and parachute it with a sip of beer and the get it down with water?
I was never one to mess with alcohol while on other drugs, but I have been wondering this for a while... And I'm actually rather low on Tramadol, I'll try to hold on a couple of hours before taking 50 mg with a shot of Heineken and water. Hopefully I'll get a response. ;)

So let me get this straight. You think you will get higher with 2 drugs than with one? 8)

Well... Everyone says don't mix alcohol with other drugs, because it might potentiate them and you will OD. So what if you don't take much of one or the other? Or even both?

I detest tramadol, so I don't know.. I find that alcohol actually ruins an opiate buzz for me instead of potentiates it for me.. it seems to over power it.. but some people say otherwise.

A small sip of beer is not going to effect anything IMO. If you drank a few beers you would get somewhere. I dont like drinking too much when I use opiates because it takes away from the opiate feel for me, but a few drinks can be good.

Try one beer, and take your time drinking it, youll feel sip after sip hitting you once your halfway done with your bottle

I often use 2-4 beers to boost drugs, particularly benzos and opioids. It's a good way to reduce the amount of benzos you have to take IMO, and I really don't notice much difference between one extra pill or a couple of beers on top - saves more pills for later. :) I personally haven't found that such a small amount "taints" the high from anything too much, but it does slightly enhance sedative and euphoric effects.
