I know theres already a mega thread but i wanted to open a new one.....


I just recently have been taking these for the past few weeks to help with my RLS..... Due to opiate WD's


However at doses of like 300-500MG you feel just great all day and its like a benzo mixed with an opiate (not as strong as OXY but def better than codeine or DXM IMO)..... i always add weed.... In addition does anyone else get super wired from it? I stay up for like 2 days when i keep re-dosing....


Anyway.... How is this not scheduled...... I already feel the WD effects after using for only 2 weeks....... This shit fucks you up and its given out like candy or Tylenol......
 
I may be wrong but i think Tramadol increased the chance of seizure (and can cause seizures) by alot..

Be careful..
 
It's different for everyone, I barely feel anything from tramadol. I tried up to 450mg and all it did was cure my pain, nothing else.
 
over 400mg can cause a seizure. A benzos can help prevent that.
Although if you haven't had a seizure before you might be ok. I would highly suggest never going over 800mg in a 24 hour period. I've done that a few times and it has never ended well. You end up puking, cold sweats and so high that it isn't fun anymore!

yes, it can make you wired AND nod. For those it works for, cause you have to have the right enzymes to make it work, it acts as a stimulant AND a opiate.

It isn't scheduled because when it first came out it was hailed as a pain reliever that was close to opiates but not abusable. Apparently they didn't test well enough.
 
Ahh tramadol

I'm about a week into detox from a rather long binge from tramadol....

It ended with me taking about 1.5 grams at a time =/


I've never had a seizure thankfully, but i'd be cautious with this drug as the withdrawl can last significantly longer than other opoids not to mention the depression is worse do to it's reputake of serotonin
 
If you are taking large amounts of Tram and you are on Lyrica would or could that help control seizures? Also what if you have a high tolorance to Tram would or could that reduce your chances or having one?
 
When i'd mix the two, i'd barely feel any of them
it really sucked

i wouldnt reccomend it, albeit it'll help control the seizures
 
Wow, you take 500mg of Tramal in one go? Last time i was scripted it i only took 50-100mg at a time, works slightly on pain but that was about it.

Thought i did have mates that would take one 50mg tab and they would claim to be "Tramaling" quite well??
 
they are either light weights or lying to try to look cool. You need at least 150MG ish + to get any kinda good high... and for some people it doesnt work very well.... depends if you have the right liver enzymes or not.
 
No, some people can take 50 mg's and get great effects. The problem is when you do it day after day,then you do have to up the dose. But doing 50 mg on ocassion.can work for a person quite a while.
 
Believe it I am here to testify..in fact some days I only take 25 in a.m. and 25 in the p.m. and I am a recovering opiate soldier...=D operation oxymoron
