I've been researching ketamine because I was bored and am interested in the effects of it.

Apparently ketamine is the new drug of choice in some parts of asia like china, apparently more users then that of ice users.

It makes me wonder, why isn't it used much in Australia? Is there a drought all across Australia at the moment? Or Aussie's aren't interested in it that much there aint much of a scene? Because the chances of people having ketamine is very low. It isn't around AUS at all is it?

It's interesting how some drugs are popular in some countrys and some are not.
 
Also if there is any is quality also a problem? because a while ago I tried some and it didn't get me in a k-hole, or maybe I just have shit sources...
 
^ There is ketamine around, infact I had some about a month ago. I wouldn't say ketamine is one of the most commonly available recreational drugs in Australia but it is definately around and in greater quantities than certain other drugs.

There used to be a lot of it that got pressed into "ecstasy" but you don't see many (any?) K pills anymore. I do wish there was more ketamine around, its a hell of a drug.

To answer about quality, as with anything it really comes down to who you know. I would GUESS that the majority of powdered ketamine you will find for sale in Australia has been cut with something, but who knows K dealers might be more honest than most dealers out there. The K I had a while back definately wasn't pure, but I was pretty damn high off the roughly 150mg I snorted and can hardly complain about the quality seeing as how it was free.

It's old news to us. the tighter restrictions from when it was labeled as a drug of abuse in the mid 00's caused that.

Used to be in high supply from vets and what not. pretty much it's only diversion these days is from the medical sector or dodgy ass vets or importers.
 
K isn't that common in Australia, but it definitely exists. Quality is a case by case thing. Some is fucking great, some isn't, like most drugs.
 
Up until about 3 years ago, racemic ketamine that was diverted from vets and hospitals was very prevalent in Australia. we used to end every night out in a K induced stupor. It was definitely very cheap and widely available in the early to mid 00's. There will always be a big market for it in this country.

Last year there seemed to be large amounts of R isomer ketamine and small amounts of S isomer ketamine doing the rounds in Vic. It certainly dries up completely for periods of time now days though

This year I have only heard of R isomer ketamine being in circulation once, but a little birdy sang to me about racemic vials (most likely diverted from vets or doctors) and some S isomer (very potent!) getting around.

Know your ketamine and always start low to gauge potency. When I first got my hands on S isomer I K holed the shit out of myself on the dance floor at a very large event and so did many others. We were used to the racemic ketamine which was most common at the time

It's just not that available from what I've heard, as Mr Ibis said the only times I've used it, the drug has been diverted from legitimate use which was risky for the person involved who was obtaining it for us.
 
People say also it's from horse stables... im not sure if they are serious or just saying that because it's a horse tranq
 
Yeah, its definately around. Just have to know the right people. I sampled for the first time a couple months ago. Just dipped my toes in, but it was definately interesting.

K purity is supposed to be pretty up there as far as I know, because it mostly comes from diverted vials which just need to be evapourated off to be left with pure ketamine. Rarely is it meant to be cut, but then again I'm no expert.

Its one of those things that you never seem to see in terms of the drug itself, but lots of very very very fucked up people who cant stand up, or make words and are completely oblivious to their surroundings is generally a good indication that its around lol.
 
Insanely fun drug, surprisingly fiendish and nowhere near as available anymore as I wish it was :(

It's the only hullucinogen I enjoy these days.

Dissacociative you mean? ;)

Ket is quite arguably psychedellic, but to call it a hullucinogen is a bit of a strech. Shit does get weird though lol

I've always used hullucinogen as a blanket term for 'anything that makes you trip balls.' They're hardly my forte though, so maybe thats not the proper useage, I dunno.

That's about the most accurate and succint description of K though. 'Shit gets weird.'

Believe me guys there is generally ALWAYS K around.. the blokes i know are proper K/ coke heads man. They get on it most weeks... even weeknights (a foolish decision on there part).. they like to party a little to much. But hey.. if you got bags of K / charlie sitting around wouldnt you? haha!

I know i would be in trouble.

But yeh.. there is DEFINATLY K around... It is pretty much 100% down to WHO YOU KNOW!



Make connections.. ask to meet your dudes dude.. etc. Just gotta go high enough and you get quality everytime.
 
K is always available around my area. Like above poster its all about who u know. Im personally not a big fan of K. I find it very boring. Low dose makes me feel like im a bit drunk and numb. K-Hole well id rather trip on acid or DMT. I think that when a drug is manufactured in a country that country will have its highest users usually. Europe = MDMA, Opies= the Afgans, Coke= South Americans, K and Ice = mainly Asia. Just think about it.
 
Ambulance Qld and Vic both were trialling Ketamine as an alternative to morphine a couple of years ago. I'm not sure whether they decided it was too much of a risk but I would have expected a greater increase in what reached the blackmarket being medical source.
