Cali amsterdam canada?

So me and some friends got into a little argument the other day over where the best nug is produced. One of my friends (the canadian, duh) said that canada produced the nicest weed. My other friend says amsterdam, and I say norcal at this point.

Amsterdam has some great growers, and a lot of tech, money, time has been spent on perfecting growing there, but I still think cali beats them. Cali has a higher demand for pot (weight wise/money wise), Cali has an actual growing season for outdoor bud too, cali has access to all the science developed in amsterdam. Cali also has a culture that is very pot friendly.
I would definitely say that amsterdam was the 420 center of the world maybe 2 or 3 years ago, but Id say its nor-cal now. Oh and canada's got some good weed but id say its more just consistent and good value not necessarily the dankest though

Your guys thoughts?
 
there was already a thread on this, could one of the mods find it? i cant remember the name of it!

it was concluded that "best2 is a subjective opinion and nowhere at all has the "best" over any other place
as the truly best nugs are kept by amazing growers for themselves.
 
lol there is a actual thc friendly cafe called "Amsterdam Cafe" right on Hasting st. of Vancouver, British Columbia. You can only blaze inside a crappy storage room. :| the next door is BCMP (British Columbia Marijuana Party) bookstore with books on how to grow, pipes, bongs, tshirts, etc. :D

I agree with Sega, but of course the aforementioned places are huge hubs and have come to represent the paragon of bud in the modern era. This is facilitated by the MMJ / legal MJ industries and climates of general tolerance in those places.

There is a heavy underground culture everywhere, just think about the explosion in breeding and genetics that could be facilitated by widespread legality...
 
The explosion of breeding you speak of has been mainstream in CA... any1 with their 215 can grow and many do (usually above their limit) every club sells ready to go clones. Mmj in CA has basically become a counterculture... "club weed" is the same stuff you find from a dealer a lot of the time... and this is all not including the emerald triangle... sorry I'm typing on my phone and don't feel like going into more detail, but to sum it up california wins hands down
 
can one really say where the best pot comes from. that is a matter of opinion. Netherlands does some amazing things with their genetics which makes it possible to grow amazing bud with high yield and superb quality that can be grown outdoors even in the most humid and rainy seasons, for example the New Purple Power strain which is mostly sativa.
On the other hand the canadians do similar things with there breeding, allowing people to grow at high latitudes in shorter grow seasons without losing quality, or quantity.
And california which has the most optimal conditions for growing out of those three places produces some of the finest herb worldwide like Kali Mist for instance.
With pot of that magnitude it is hard to say which is better, strains of that caliber are all amazing, thats why every year people from all over the globe gather together to vote on which is the best of the best and every year there is a new winner.
i guess the reason i say this tho is because not every pot is created equal but some have been created with specific purposes in mind.

You have not tried some Australian Bud have you :-D I have heard from various backpackers our stuff here is pretty potent

the clones growers use are pretty much the same all over the world, genetics available in seedform don't vary that much either... so it really comes down to the grower...

that being said, scoring properly grown weed in amsterdam is a really really difficult task these days (they all sell unflushed and uncured bud, in the worst case full of fungizides and pestizides, not nice) i'm always more on the look-out for the exotic hashes in amsterdam...

in cali there may be more organic pot available, but they ruin everything with their kush craziness... indicas are so boring! bring back those pure sativas! :)

in canada i hear there's lots of mids for commercial, but also decent supply of high grade pot...

but just grow your own and you'll never have to worry about the quality or amount of pot you get! it's a lot cheaper too! and being a gardener is a very fullfilling occupation, and you'll not support any black market structures with criminals who only care about money not pot... so yeah, growing pot is a win-situation for everybody :)

hmm all that talk of bud has made me hungry... how about some panama x purple haze for wake & bake? :D
 
anyone with the time and money can produce amazing marijuana.

regionally id say cali just because of the awesome growing conditions.
 
i've had them all... and NL buds win hands down.

quasar haze/dr. grinspoon (100% sativa) is probably one of the most pleasent buds you can get. and i've only found that in holland

however... the best bud is easily the one that has been grown and properly cared for by each individual. given they had good genetics to start with... which usually come from holland ;)
 
honestly i've never been to cali or canada, but i have been to amsterdam and when you go you'll understand why their weed is and always will be the best

Cali has the option to get Legal weed if you want.
Emerald triangle is an amazingly peaceful place.
Cops here don't seem to bash on people who smoke weed, legal or not.
We can get stoned and go to the beach, snow or just chill in Cali sunshine.
You can grow anything here. We grow the best weed, indoors and outdoors anytime of the year you'd like.
We have Nor Cal with the Bay Area, San Fransisco; the birth of the counterculture. So Cal where it "never rains in Southern California" beaches for miles to enjoy while high and Hollywood where even a stoner can become a movie star.
Cali has it all for the connoisseur of marijuana.


Amsterdam just has it legal weed.
Its a small place, with nothing to do but smoke weed and sleep in shitty run down hotels.
A tourist trap more than anything.
Good for a one time visit.


Canada....
Oh Canada, if only you didn't have free health care for everyone to mooch from.
The freezing temps which are almost impossible for outdoor strains, let alone having a place to enjoy while high. what Vancouver? That's all.
You got BC Bud, but that's just one thing.


California is the whole package.
