Anyone else go through this?

I have extremely unreliable connects down here in South Florida. I'm an OXY user, so because of my unreliable connects I'm sometimes forced to go days at a time without a single 30mg blue. You can only imagine the withdrawal pains I go through about 3-5 times a month.

I'm on my second withdrawal this week. My last withdrawal was last Saturday. I took my last pill around 6pm Saturday evening and couldn't get more until Monday after 5pm, so close to 48 hours without.

Now same thing is happening again. My connects didn't come through and my last pill was yesterday at around 5pm. So I'm closely approaching the 12 hour mark and more than likely it will be a lot longer as well.

So like I said, because of unreliable people I go through withdrawals multiple times a month. I've thought about just quitting, but once I get past the 48 hour mark the pain and suffering becomes too intense and I relapse just to get relief. I can already feel the muscle aches in my arms and legs creeping up, and stomach cramps are right around the corner.

Does ANYONE go through this, or am I just the most unlucky person in the world?

You aren't the most unluckiest person in the world. When I started getting hardcore into Oxycodone I had the SAME troubles as you. At the time I had an addiction to the 80mg OxyContin tablets. My dealer was unreliable and he would always seem to have an abundance for a little while and then have nothing whenever I started to run low. I'd find myself going up to even 72 hours without them. It was hell when running out and then always waiting around the phone wondering if he had any.

My habit really grew though once I found a steady supply.

Glad to hear I'm not alone with this BS.

Like I said, I wish I could just quit, I KNOW I don't need this crap anyway, but it's just hard with all the combined stress right now. I just can't stop thinking, "It'd all go away and be OK if I just had a roxy." Which is both true and untrue at the same time.

It's 4:39pm right now and my boy I work with told me that after work (5pm) we can run up to his friends work and pick some up as long as his boss isn't there. I'm crossing my fingers, because if I get let down again this is gonna crush my spirit big time.

BTW, I've never even heard of an 80mg OXY. That sure would be nice right about now. Down here 30's are more common, but I know one guy who can only get 15's. 80's are unheard of here.

Well the ones I take are OxyContin. The "contin" just means continuous release.

Mine are just 30mg form. They're not that expensive IMO. Not going to list prices specifically, but they usually under 12 each.

I suggest stopping while you are ahead. You have never heard of an oxy 80, I think thats a good sign that you arent in shit deep with an oxy addiction (yet). Been there, done that living in florida myself, I know how the blues flow. Just my .02, and sorry for no help, but man it kills me to see you kids going down this dark path.

In my experience, if you ever have a chance to get some suboxone for a decent price, get it. If you start having withdrawal symptoms, take or snort 2mg of it. It will keep you out of withdrawal for about 30 hours, maybe even 48. Just don't do oxy for like 1 and a half days after doing suboxone, and vice versa.

Also, don't do suboxone long term. It will fuck up your tolerance bad and withdrawals from that last a loooong time. I had a prescription for suboxone for about 9 months. I quit cold turkey in jail cause they didn't give it to you there, and before I got there I was taking(not snorting) 1 and a half to 2 8mg suboxones a day and I had aches and withdrawals not as bad as oxy but I swear to god they lasted about 3 months before I was totally without physical pain. The best way to quit is do snort 2mg of suboxone a day for like 3 maybe 4 days and then just go cold turkey

In certain parts of florida you can get them easier than you can get a pack of gum. It's like driving through crack town. Not sourcing here, just trying to help.

I can't get suboxone here. I had 2 pills of it once and only took a half the last time I tried to quit, I think they were 2mg. I was told letting it ingest under your tongue would be the ONLY way it would work. Man did it suck.

I can't find the last 1 1/2 pills.

And none of my connects can get any. So yea. I personally feel that I'm physically strong enough to quit any time, just not mentally. I can NOT get the thought of oxy out of my head. It kills me.

I can only listen to "Sixx A.M. - Accidents Can Happen" after I take them and pray I'm strong enough to stop tomorrow. Of course, while I'm on my way to get them I listen to "Smile Empty Soul - Bottom of a Bottle" - :-)

"I DO IT FOR THE DRUGS! I DO IT FOR THE LOVE THAT I GET FROM THE BOTTOM OF A BOTTLE!"

Kratom might help with the mental part. Maybe not too much, but it should help take your mind off it alittle. Pods will make you forget all about them, but its not really worth doing

lol
ok

Just suffer through the withdrawl, that's what real men do man

It's how i roll

Anywho, do 500grams of protein/day, megadose vitamins
take loperamide
dxm will greatly help with withdrawl

You can buy poppy pods and make a tea outta it... for the ppl who dont understand, it's opium tea

you can use poppy seeds too

i'd tell ya more if ya had aim >.>

thats enough tho, that'll get u through

Hey, douche bag, stop creating new threads with purposely vague and pointless titles. It's not only useless to people who are searching for info, its against posting rules.

And its fattening.

Seriously, I would ask all fellow blue lighters NOT TO POST FOLLOW UP REPLIES in a thread unless the thread title is clear and to the point. Your helpful answers will be lost in time as future members who search thread titles (which we all know is the best way to research a subject) will never see your suggestions.

Save your hard work for threads that have been properly established and will benefit the most users.
