Last year we saw the evolution of UnderGround Sound creating a new realm of Electronic Music Festival. A decade ago it was common place for people to travel from far and wide to congregate for like minded enthusiasts for a weekend of fun. The experience of traveling and communing with those from other parts of the world, sharing experiences, and forging bonds of friendship to withstand time and distance has been long lost to many. We have worked hard to keep this alive and have laid a great foundation for a new decade of music, friendship, fun and evolution.
This year we will be topping last years production on the blue stage, but there is more!
Sonic Bloom will be traveling from Colorado and taking over the red stage to include the Sonic Bloom experience as a realm in our circus of UGS. We are excited to bring such a strong presentation of the divergent sounds and scenes in EDM into one camp fest with a special performance by one of the most legendary stage shows in EDM history!

“Crossing the Event Horizon”

The Unified Field Theory of scientist Nassim Haramein

Presented by Jamie Janover, emissary for Nassim Haramein & The Resonance Project

Have you ever wondered about how the universe works? How we fit in? Have you experienced the micro-macro dynamics of existence, or sensed it? Do you feel, or instinctually know that everything truly is “all one”? Or felt that science has been looking in the wrong direction? Focusing on exclusive material particles, rather than inclusive fundamental principles? Where is the cohesion in the chaos? Have you ever wondered what ancient societies may have known or experienced that we have either discarded or forgotten? And where did they learn it?

When Jamie Janover first saw scientist Nassim Haramein speak he was totally blown away. Nassim was actually able to tie together everything into one cohesive unification theory – EVERYTHING: from cosmology to quantum mechanics, sacred geometry, ancient cultures, religious texts, Einstein's relativistic theories (with an added spin component) and even the nature of consciousness....

Jamie is one of 12 "emissaries" that went to Hawaii in January 2008, where Nassim himself taught people to give his presentation, in great detail, on his life's work - a grand unification theory.

Come learn about Nassim Haramein’s lifelong journey into the geometry of space-time, which has lead to a coherent understanding of the fundamental structure of the universe and our existence in it. In this presentation, Jamie Janover will take you on a journey through humanity’s evolution, exposing the changes necessary to produce a Unified Physics; a unification of not only the forces of nature, but also evolution and the occurrence of consciousness. Haramein's theory demonstrates as well a parallel between ancient codes in documents and monuments.

This all-encompassing theory may prove to be one of the most important discoveries of our time.

Below are links to Nassim's website and related media. Come experience a set of information that has the ability to really be life-changing when you land that YOU actually ARE an infinite being... and how you connect to everything... literally.

can't wait for UGS6 this year :-) missed last year. all i hear are rave reviews about camp zoe!

That's a lot of dubstep! Thanks for adding some decent house artists (Angel Alanis), but where's the variety for dnb? Evol intent played at UGS4 and I was hoping for something a little different. My first cave experience was with Reid Speed and Aphrodite (UGS3), so maybe I'm just spoiled, but I was hoping for more energetic and danceable dnb and less "STOMPIN SKULLZ", especially given the vast amount of dark dubstep booked.

I know I'm in the vast minority here because it's hard to find dnb fans who wouldn't love to see Evol Intent live, but they played a live show in Indy and Cincy as well as a few other midwest dates just recently. This is not to say I'm complaining, just an observation from a dnb dj who is seeing less and less fun dnb at bigger events and more and more dark/techy jungle. I also recognize that EI provides the ability to save funds while booking other acts from the same guys (Computer Club, Bro Safari). But on that note, I do have to ask...where's the Ludachrist!?!?!?

Regardless of the lineup, this well worth $85 for a weekend. Too bad my dumbass never grabbed early pre-sales, I don't know what I was waiting for.

Also, when do we get to see who's playing at the other stages?

Sonic Bloom is doing an entire stage there. Most of the mid-tempo & dub will be on that stage. Where is the excitement for bringing Rabbit in the Moon back to the mid-west. Want something from the days before dub and glitch, they are still blowing minds.

I didn't mention it, but this will be my virgin RITM experience and I am beyond excited for that.

Thanks for the follow-up Tom, you're a stand-up guy! %)

hey guys/gals we made this real easy for you to check out the acts this year as I am sure there are a number that have been hard for your to catch in the Mid-West. Just click the links and check out the videos, you might discover something new.

Promo materials for Memorial Weekend and early June will mail early next week. Please sign up with Shimon to receive them as they will mail straight from there, not from me. Just select your city, then the radius you want to promote in, and select actions. If you want to promote in a way that is not listed, just message them and they will create more actions for you. Thanks for your patience as we get this new system going for us. This system is fun and effective and should greatly improve the efficiency of our street teaming.

........thoughts on party

Sorry I just can't see paying $85 to drive 7 hours to a weeking party. :(

^if anything this is probably the most likely reason for lack of dialog about
this event & I would have to agree, way overpriced.......
When the economy seriously collapses like it is.... a lot of things happen......
first of all it doesnt matter if you put every electronic Act in the world on your line up; people just cant afford it.
Logistics. Logistics. Logistics.
second....NO ONE in our society (including your homies) are going to go around actually communicating how desperately BROKE they are or how impossible
life is becoming....
(this is also consequently a big reason our society in general is fucked up: lack of communication regarding desperation and organization to cure this problem; american egos get in the way and most people cant admit things'is fucked up.....)
ALL THIS BEING SAID IF I HAD $85 I WOULD GLADLY GIVE IT AND DRIVE THE 7 HOURS TO BE AT THIS PARTY......WENT TO ugs.......UMMMM 04 ? I THINK? .....IT WAS AWESOME/ AMAZING / WORTH IT......
......NOW-i-T-IS-T-H-E-S-C-A-R-Y-F-U-T-U-R-E...................................
p.s.
at 85$ a pop you might as well say: free set of glow sticks, free pup tent(20$@walmart) and free bottle of water & all tickets are VIP........
You might pack em in....
Or make it $20.
GOOD LUCK WITH IT ALL AND YEAH I'M SURE THE PARTY ITSELF WILL BE GREAT.

Presales have actually been very affordable in comparison to other festivals and I know quite a few "broke" people who chose to go to Bonaroo, Nocturnal, EDC, Ultra, Lollapalooza, etc.

The VIBE you get at UGS is unparalleled and in my opinion, I'd rather drop half the cash I'd spend at lolla and go to UGS instead. The drive isn't THAT bad compared to Shawnee (~8 hours from Indianapolis instead of ~5). I didn't go to UGS last year in favor for DEMF and I definitely regret that decision because there's nothing that will beat the atmosphere of UGS.

Also, I've never been to Zoe and absolutely everyone I talk to tells me how great of a venue it is. <$100 a person for a great weekend of music, art, good old ravey goodness? Sign me the fuck up.

No one on the line up screams come see me.

There's a few for me....but outside of RITM, most of them have been through the area recently.

That's not so much the issue for me though, as I've heard a TON of great things about years past, like Chris said.

My only "bitch" would be that the lineup came out so late, the early bird tickets were finished....but I guess that's the idea.

Best of luck to you guys! I wish I could make it.

Oddly enough, this is part of why we took the bigger better approach. If you are taking time off and driving 5-10 hours or more for an event and possibly only get to do this for one event this summer and you choose UGS, we want you to leave feeling like it was worth the time, effort and even buying that $20 tent from wal-mart that you will never get packed back into the tote bag that it came in.
