Closing down in LA?

I live in hollywood, unfortunate as it may be, there are many dispenserys close by. Anyway one that I go to said last night that they are shutting down all the los angeles county dispenserys. Kinda sucks if you ask me, they said they have so much income coming in that the government isnt liking it.

The government needs to find a more effective way of legalizing marijuana. The medical thing doesn't seem to be working out. Where is this money going anyway? Wherever its going, its not to the government, which means no more local dispenserys. Sucks.

Thoughts? Info? What is your political view on the current status of legal marijuana?

nahhh, they're just closing alot of them. Here is a link to a site with the list of the ones that are closing, on the site it also has a link to the dispensaries that are staying open.

LA country has done this before this is just on a much, much larger scale. It is because the dispensaries are in large a joke. I mean walking up and down a extremely public place like venice beach with dispensaries called "Dr. Kush" with signs like "doctor on-site" make this obvious. I think that medical marijuana is legitement, but weed should also be generally legal as well; so you don't have the 9/10 people just walking in and claiming fake shit to get legal marijuana.

Perfectly said! I totally agree and I just figure "why should I have go through that stupid kush dr to get legal? I should just be able to get it at a gas station!" Ya know?

There are some people who can benefit from medical herb such as people going through major chemotherapy and people with eating disorders but the majority of people just use medical herb as an excuse to get high and get herb easily.
