I like how the ads say "Face the facts".

If you notice in the picture, there is a stove next to the toilet. No one has a stove in the bathroom, so none of this is fact.

I have an oven next to my toilet. I like to grill toasted cheese sandwiches whilst I pooh.
 
I wouldn't give a shit if MDMA was actually made in a toilet, as long as it was only MDMA that was found in pills these days.

But we all know that nobody in their right mind would make MDMA in a toilet because, well, obviously it's impossible.... Silly media, I wonder how many people will believe this...
 
Ok so MAYBE some cooks do make drugs in their bathrooms...I'd bet they'd bloody clean it though!
 
A lab wouldnt even fit into a toilet LOL. Its not something u can shake and bake like meth. There are so many misleading myths thesedays.
 
I dont see whats the point of this thread. Ive racked MDMA pills and speed off toilets alot of times when i was younger and that was the only option. No big deal lol
 
I don't see the point in it either but all is good fun anyways. Some people can see through propaganda and do their own research and make their own choices whereas others can't.
 
this add is on 2-3 masssssssive billboards around the gong, makes me chuckle everytime i see it, what a fucking watse of the money i pay the government every year, i would love to have a convo with the guy who thought up this idea.
 
/\ I LOL'd when i saw this... It's so stupid, what kind of idiot would choose to make drugs in their toilet over the kitchen or lounge room or something, making it in a toilet is so much harder.

Its almost offensive that the government thinks were so stupid that we are going to believe what they are saying, there is exagerating the truth and then there is stupidity...
 
If they wanted to step it up with their campaign, they should state that ecstasy is made in the toilet after a Curry Sunday night.
 
This pisses me off so bad..That picture that Lil Angel posted is just pathetic...I wanna slap the person/s silly who made that..

Im amazed no one has studied the toilet ecstacy picture enough to realise the tube running into the toilet is merely the water outlet from the condensor. last time i checked pouring water into a toilet was no different to pouring it down the drain. Theres actually some pretty good tips in these pictures if you study them hard enough. Im sure swim could actually produce some very clean substances, using the setup pictured for one of the steps. still, drugs are bad... well thats what the government told me anyways so it must be true.
 
^^ nice first post :P i noticed that too, but, thats not what the government is getting across in that image. Notice how dark-coloured it all is? supposed to show us "how dirty and ecstasy lab is" and having a toilet there is just pushing their story along. I was of the impression it was only being used for a drain also.
 
Thanks for the pic Lil. I went driving this morning and saw one. Nothing like a dirty looking toilet poster to attract the tourists aye ;) I wouldn't mind betting there's a few councilors and resort owners who'd prefer it wasn't there.

Me neither, I feel like such a social leper sometimes when people are talking about this ad or that ad and I'm just like 'wtf?'. I don't even watch SBS anymore, not until they get an on demand web channel, I just watch ABC's iView when I watch 'TV'. :D
