I found this- so he must be pushing a product but apparently it cant be spoken of yet. I don't like the idea of posters trying to brainwash this thread into believing all is OK with the RC vendors...........its not.

Well played Evad! What an absolute crock that is. It would be funny if we weren't talking about psychoactive compounds and, potentially, peoples lives. These people must think everyone has a zip on the back of their heads to try and tell their customers that they have r&d budgets running into the hundreds of thousands to perform clinical and human trials on their compounds..who do they think they are.. Charles river or rosche ffs?! This is a level of spin that Malcolm Tucker would be proud of..if it weren't for the smattering of juvenile spelling errors and harry potteresque level of plausibility. Fuckin sad and not welcome here.

I have a sneaky suspicion I know which vendor he's talking about. They were making ridiculous claims of years of human testing (but apparently never thought to publish the result - or even mention it until they got a few new chems to try on you (and me hopefully - they at least sound decent :D). I saw a email from their "Head of R&D" or medicine or science or religion or sophistry. Something along those lines but I suspect the latter as he couldn't actually spell most of the chemicals he was selling let alone any big medical words. Like hiccough maybe - or is it hiccup? Would forgive that one but his email was like a trained (but only on weekends) chimp had written it. Not too convincing really. And how exactly do they manage 2-3 years study of drugs never used in man but only a year on ones that have? That is genuinely impressive. Or just bollocks like the rest. I'd put my money on the balls.

They certainly didn't invent any synthetic cannabinoids either - they've been around for far longer than the few they've been sold on the RC market. JWH = Dr John William Huffman (I think - definitely Huffman - teehee). There are literally hundreds of JWH compounds alone, then the CP-xxxx and the WIN-xxx and a few that are incredibly obscure. But they were pretty much all produced for medical research. The ones that have the sad side-effect of getting you off yer tits were left on the shelf for years until vendors saw massive (legal) profit. Vendors are not chemists - they\re mostly chancers working out of their mum's back bedroom. And a few more knowledgeable and thoughtful towards their punters , of course. They don't tend to sell branded, unnamed, unknown, secret mixes of untested drugs to kiddiez for penniez though.

That aside, the furious benzo that's soon to be flying off every vendor in the land's shelves - 1-(benzofuran-6-yl)pr1-(benzofuran-6-yl)propan-2-amine - may not be around too long at all. Seems like two of it's bastard benzo bredrin are already banned - 2-(5-Methoxy-2-methyl-2,3-dihydrobenzo[beta]furan-6-yl)-1-methylethylamine and 2-(5-Methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2,3-dihydrobenzo[beta]furan-6-yl)-1-Methylethylamine are both Class A. Buggered before I'd ever even heard of them let alone spell or speak them 8(

Think f&b sampled another one of the family but this new one was what he suggested could top it if it were made, I believe. And it already has a stupid brand name but know it won't take long for it to have a hundred more online, on the mean streets of Shepton Mallet in every headshop that's not been burnt out by the IRA in Ireland yet. None will beat Benzo Fury for sheer oxymoronic fun though. Mad Moggies anyone?
 
When the media started hyping that the drone ban would only result in hundreds of new designer drugs popping up quickly I thought they were only hyping. I mean, I wasn't actually aware that there are chemists and websites operating to knock out new drugs on this scale... I thought the people who made the bucks on mephedrone would have made enough to have been like let's leave this game now... I mean seriously.... Benzo fury? 5-iai, and now I just seen HEX TC1!??? I mean i swear mephedrone and methylone have actually been around for a good few years, and now they are knocking out some (app good) MDMA substitutes every other week!!?? Can't work out if this ban was good or bad... I'm more inclinced to say bad... It has changed the drugs game completely..... Every other gimpy student sold drone at my uni and became drug dealers, suddenly the most innocent girls would be rushing their faces off on drone each night. === now it is illegal, they are within the arm of the law and are oblivious to it = not good!!
 
Methylone was one of Shulgin's (lesser) creations. Lesser compared to that other lil known RC he created - MDMA (or 2C-x - especially B which is his favourite love child of them all, from memory) for sure. The former has been around barely half of the latter but that's still 20-odd years and is known to be really rather safe.

Meph is a "proper" designer drug in that it was designed from scratch (well, from a chemical found in Qat anyway) specifically cos it would be easy, cheap and legal to make and sell and make sillymoney for all concerned. Was first tasted by man less than half a dozen years ago and is already known to be a bit iffy. In Israel where it originates from (I believe) the longer term effects on the heart are just starting to show up. Good news mepheads - you've got nearly another five years before your heart valves crumble =D

Or maybe not. It's not been around anywhere near long enough to know for sure. Doesn't look brilliant though. Or terrible. Mildly shit perhaps. How very suited :D

The noobiest of noobs have been tasted by less than a dozen people worldwide and maybe not even seen a rat beforehand. Guinea Pig time indeed. Medical research never pays well but paying to be the subject is a new one - clever those chemist chappies. And cunning - get others to do the research and pay for it then make your millions selling it. Except f&b - he's the clever kinda chemist who just tosses new names out there and miraculously they appear and just as scrummy described. Make Drugs - Poke Vendors, perhaps. Or desoxy them to death maybe - would be the longest wait to die ever 8o
 
Yes it does seem odd.
Personally I only like MDMA, not coke, speed or weed.
At the moment I am unable to get real MDMA so I was hoping one of these 2 newly mentioned chemicals would at least be half as good.

Mephedrone did not come close in my opinion, it was ok, maybe 3 out of 10.
M1 gave me poor highs and awful lows for days after, MDMA does not for me anyway.

I wonder if 5-IAI and BF exist. But surely with sites like this if what people are sent is crap it will soon be known and hopefully they wont be able to rip too many people off for too long.

Shambles, can you tell me what you mean about F&B naming something and then it appears.
 
Check ADD for the (very) few trip reports of 5-IAI (sounds great but brief... and redosable :D) and one or two (possible shill) ones on Benzo Fury (I think it's actually called 6-ADBD or similar but hasn't caught on so memorably well for some reason). Have heard whispers but not tasted those whispers yet so had a Wispa and a Walnut Whip instead.

F&B has an uncanny knack of predicting new (good) drugs before they are actually made by anyone. If he posts a long chemical name that exists only in his mind alongside lots of =D in the vicinity there's a fair chance some chemist will have a crack at it. Pretty sure he was the first to suggest MDPV and desoxypipradol may be interesting, potent yet almost totally physically benign stims which was a pretty good guess. Think 3-MeO-PCP was another of his ideas and probably some others. He posted a trip report on 5-ABDB (or whatever it's called) a coupla years ago and do believe he mentions that it was just missing what the new and improved number 6 has. It's probably worth a pound or two on the :"new meph" being something he posted in passing years ago. I can't even spell the buggers. So eat them instead :)

Mephedrone was actually first synthesised and tested by a UK based Hive member called Kinetic in 2003. He was bored and had a few reagents lying around and decided to give it a go, bioassayed it and posted the results. The Hive is long gone but the thread is still knocking about various places on the internet, reposted and archived. I would link to it as its a very interesting read but given it also contains detailed synthesis info that would be against BL guidelines?

I'd call it detailed in a somewhat stimkeen way but missing the important bit I didn't know - it being British before Israeli - was an Israeli legal high company that put it in pills and marketed it on a massive scale. And apparently a traditional English Eccentric buggering about in a shed that actually created it. Doubt he'll win a Pride of Britain award anytime soon though :D

I have no more idea about the long-term dangers than anyone else. But I do know that the more drug knowledge - especially chemistry/biology/psychopharmacology knowledge - and general experience of all things drug are also the ones who never took it and advised everyone do the same or stick to moderate use. The concerns are mostly all of damage to the heart that will take years to become apparent - started happening in Israel with far younger folk having worse problems earlier. According to something I read somewhere so may not be entirely true, Pretty sure I've read it a dew places recently but it's only a suggestion of a possible link at most. I imagine Israel is a pretty stressful place to live too.
