Okay new idea ...

I will go down and give them the card ....

Then if the situation looks and feels legit I will sign for the package walk to my bike and peddle home fast as fuck.

They dont have shit unless I sign for it! ... i'll only sign for it when i'm sure it isn't a possible bust .. I know i'm mad paranoid ...
 
Man honestly, the only reason i thought it was dodgy was cause originally you said the package didn't arrive and you got a phone call.

But now that you've said they came to the door with a note, well it is all legit.
 
If it has ur address on it then why cant they deliver it? Dont pick it up its a trap. As soon as u sign for it the feds will be there.

Edit: Just read that they delivered the notification to ur door. Shouldnt be that suss then.

Nah that's the usually way they deliver a package. Try your door once and if you're not there, they leave a note telling you to pick it up. Nothing sus there, though that doesn't gaurantee it's not sus. Really though, they're not going to pull a massive bust, lying in wait for you at the post office, for 4 caps.

BUT my Dad answered the damn door and for the first time on like 50 times of using this postal sevice they wouldn't let him sign for my package.

And for the FIRST time in like 10 years of using them they hand him a note for ME to come pick it up.

WHy wouldn't they let my Dad sign for it ? He has signed for masses of stuff before for me in the past.

Fishy as! .. and when it's drugs covered by NZ's analogue act it makes 8ft a little nervous.
 
To be honest 8ft, and I'm not having a go at you, you made a decision to order in an illegal substance, so live with your decision.

If you leave it at the post office, there going to start ringing, and they wont give up until they have made contact with you. Id say go pick it up and if something bad does happen, prepare for the worst.

It sound's weird that for the first time in 10 year's they handed your dad a note to give to you, and that they wouldn't let your dad sign for it but who knows..Maybe it's a new rule or something..

Avoid picking the package up and if and when they try call you or similar or even show up at your door again with it do not touch the package or sign for it...

you were not expecting a package and this is strange ....

tell them you dont know what it is and to open it themselves ...

things that will probably happen ... you go post office or wherever to pick up package they will say take a seat we have misplaced it ... this is time for police to show up ...

My parents sign for all my packages arriving from overseas as I use their address as mine ... legal things of course.. and there has never been a problem in them signing for it.If no ones home they leave a little red and white card to pick it up.

just remember you cant be arrested or charged unless you sign for it or you have your finger prints on it..... !!

If you do decide to pick it up then be warned if you get the oh we misplaced it sorry can you wait whilst we look in the back... then its time to run ... lol

I'd say you're safe. If you were going to be busted it'd be through customs, not the local post office. Leaving a card is standard procedure. Whenever I order concert tickets online, they come via registered post. When I'm inevitably not home, they leave the card and I have to go down to the post office and collect it myself, which is damn annoying given they could just put it in the letter box, but I digress.

While not collecting it is the safest option, I believe if you don't pick it up within 7 days they return it to the sender, but I may well be wrong.

Edit: just realised there's a page 2. It is strange that they wouldn't let him sign for it, especially when they usually do. No one has ever signed one for me, but I have no idea if anyone else has been home when they've tried to deliver it. Proceed with caution.
 
It is a bit strange they wouldn't let your dad sign for it, but it still sounds to me like it could be legit. It's only 4 caps afterall. Though, if you're worried, just don't pick it up. Losing 4 caps is much better than getting convicted for something.

but yeah you'd be better off just trying to source some meph through contacts etc, than risk being made an example of in this climate...

they've probably got channel 7 news waiting in the wings too ;)
 
This thread has run its course and nothing further can be gained from it.

Basically, you've purchased a controlled substance and there is every possibility you will be caught. Alternatively, it could be nothing and you're just being paranoid. This being the case, and the fact no one on here can tell you what is and isn't going to happen, makes this thread pretty much useless.

The ball is in your court and now you need to decide if collecting the package is worth risking the possible consequences. :\
