Is it just me, or does Tramadol suck?

I just found my new night drug mix! 900mg codeine and then 600mg Tramadol. Anyone wanna try it on a lower level to suit your tolerence let me know. I didn't take anything else though to help avoid a seizure. Peace.

This is bad. Do not mix tramadol with other opiates, as opiates lower the seizure threshold by inhibiting GABA.
 
yep tramadol sucks. you won't get any form of a buzz. You'd be better off trying to catch a buzz from the grass growing in your backyard, or front yard for that matter.
 
Jim has had too much oxy I'm afraid. If not he would have seen that for certain people tramadol works great. Some people can metabolize the drug and get euphoria along with a super mood boost. Others don't get anything at all. I really feel sorry for these people because they often make these bogus, full of shit, statements about how "tramadol sucks for everyone". Some simply have no clue about how drugs and the body work.

Agreed, and alot safer as well. Can't get over the deaths linked or caused by aspirin. And i'm finished with trams now, not worth the script for me, and i'll take the advise to not mix codeine and trams anymore. As much as it was like snowballing, not worth the risk. Thank you for the help and support.

i think tramadol is apretty amazing drug.the high is pretty dull and im not sure of the painkilling properties,but they were the reason i was able to detox from a decade long heroin habit.for me they were more effective than subutex and methadone,which i attempted at least 10 times.im pretty sure the anti depressant/ssri effects of trams was a massive part of that.has anyone else attempted this method?..take care!.........e.
 
Tramadol will lift one's mood if they have no experienc or tolerance to harder drugs. It doesn't get you high, but it will take you out of pain (my experience) and lift the mood somewhat.
 
I got really nauseated from Tramadol. Thought it might be the flu that day so I tried it again a couple of weeks later and took a bit more as well. I threw up and had head spins all night as if I had smoked way too many cigarettes. From the sounds of it people get many different reactions to it depending I guess on their own personal chemistries.

Oh well, I will stick with my tried and true favs!
 
I don't know why this is even a discussion. We have established that it effects different people differently. I know once I add weed I'm high as fuck sometimes. (Tolerance is too high now 400mg). I'm lucky.
I'm sorry that some of you can't get high from it. But I do think it is at least a good enough drug if it works for you that it is worth a try.

How did you go about it? I tried to PM you but I'm too new and wasn't allowed. I want to get off 200mg a day of kadian which is time released morphine and tapering just didn't cut it.

I found that tramadol is one of the most useless pain killers ever made. Ibuprofen works better but I guess it has other uses that I'm finding out about by reading these threads. Before I ever had an opiate tolerance I finally took a small handful. I got no more pain relief but got a little buzz. I was completely surprised by that!

After you just said that I thought I'd pass on this info: Just want to make note for all of you that use the high doses: tramadol frequently causes seizures in humans. I don't know if it's just an individual thing or can cause seizures in everyone. My 23 year old daughter took a small handfull, had a seizure while driving and the Doc in the ER told us he sees seizures alot caused by tramadol, so this is just info I thought should be passed on.

Please use the search function before warning us about things we have heard a MILLION times before.
If you stay around 400mg and no higher you will be fine.
