Weed and relationships

Wasn't much of pot smoker until I met my boyfriend, who smoked atleast 3-4 times weekly when i met him. As being a youngin, i grew up viewing pot as a "horrible" thing and that stoners would go nowhere with their lives (dumb..but yes I once did think this). I was proven wrong as my boyfriend is extremely smart (top of his class) and gets shit done, a proof that the "side effects" are almost completely determined my the user. Decided on my own that hey--maybe this shit has more to it than I think.

I started enjoying smoking herb as it is not only a time to relax but also sends me into deep thought which I think is an awesome thing to share with a significant other.
Lately tho, I find that (for me) smoking too much causes depressing thoughts...so not smoking as much anymore helps out, as I do not want those thoughts while with my bf! Besides that, I think weed+relationships can be a bonding experience if you make it be.

Man, weekend addiction stop trolling on us and you can hate women all you want, but don't do it here. A good percentage of BL is female, and no one is better than anyone else here, we are all just anonymous in the internet sea.

I never said I hate women. I love everybody. I never said men are better than women or smarter than women or anything like that. If you can find a quote that backs up your wild accusation that I hate women post it and prove me wrong.

Turning my post about Jesus believing in radical changes in equality throughout the bible into "bullshit" was pretty sexist, IMO. 8)

I'm definitely biggest asshat! There is no sarcasm in the post. I'm a very conservative christian. I follow all the bible's guidelines to the best of my ability.

Sorry, but someone who actually vehemently believes in the bible wouldn't [erm.. shouldn't] behave in general like you do ;) Respect thy neighbor.

Relationships = sex. Unless your a giant pussy

No woman I have ever dated would question anything I did. They would try once of course. But I would tell them "If you want to be in charge of a relationship then there are plenty of other guys that would be happy to let you do so."

I'm just sayin'... Troll city here.

You calling me sexist is just a distraction from the fact that I beat you in the debate. I have actual evidence to back up my claims. You have zero evidence and you can't find any cause there isn't any. I called what you said bullshit because it was in fact bullshit.

Anyone from this forum knows better including you. This thread is about weed and relationships. That's what I'm talking about. You should respect others viewpoints as long as they are thought out and well put together. Which is why I disrespected your opinions. They came from the ass of a bull. If you want a respectful response then respect the forum buy not posting bullshit that you feel is true. Back up your statements next time.

I don't think chainer is being disrespectful towards you, nor am I. You quote the bible saying that women are supposed to serve men, and on a reasonably socially liberal drug forum, you are gonna get massive flaming for that. There are certain parts of Christianity stuck in the past, and this is one of them...and I think that's what people like myself and chainer are having a hard time agreeing with. It IS on topic, since for heterosexuals a relationship is between a man and a woman, which is exactly what we are all addressing.

Agreed 100%.

And it isn't coincidence that because of this out-dated behavior, we have statistics such as these:

"It is estimated that half of registered sex offenders are churchgoers"

"Seventy churches a week report sexual abuse allegations, according to Christian Ministries Resources."

"For those involved in the church and struggling with a secret sexual sin, these “church sex offenders” deal with their sin by increasing religiosity."

http://www.registeredoffenderslist.org/blog/sex-offender-news/sex-offenders-hiding-in-your-church/

It's a never ending loop for these types of people and it's a reason why I keep my SEX LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS separate from my RELIGION AND PHILOSOPHY.

i think it lets you relax and enjoy your time together. We smoke, talk, laugh, make love... Its great.

"It is estimated that half of registered sex offenders are churchgoers"

my guess is that half of PEOPLE are church-goers. this seems like a really mis-leading statistic.

all statistics are misleading when taken out of context.

i quoted three statistics with a reference. they all have to do with religion and sex. not religion alone. but while you are on a guessing game about how many people go to church, i will guess that you are wrong on that account as well.

i quoted three statistics with a reference.

there's no reference there. it's just an unsupported estimation with no mention of any kind of study.

here's a report using actual "research" on the topic of how prevalent religion is in the United States. You'll note that "Six-in-ten ( 59% ) people in the U.S. say religion plays a very important role in their lives."

Oh my gosh your website has graphs, that totally invalidates the National Sex Offenders link I provided. You are so right, what was I thinking.

Also, you are still talking about religion alone, furthering the de-railing of this thread, so I am not going to continue this childish argument with you any further.

Getting back on topic.

Last weekend I gave my partner a fairly potent edible and she absolutely loved it. I ate one with with her and we spent the evening together eating fine foods and watching a movie. We got to sleep in and felt Great the next day. It was truly a remarkable time.

Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 (New King James Version)

Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without Him?

The Bible condones moderation with alcohol. Alcohol can be just as bad as heroin for example. The withdrawals of an addict can cause seizures and sudden death. So if we can use moderation with alcohol...why can't we use moderation with other things?

1 Corinthians 7 : Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Yes do not deprive your wife of having an opinion. I can go and google bible verses too. Uh DUh Schimmity.

^ true two heads is more money then one :) i cant smoke with out my hubby ., and if im not around too smoke he will usually wait for me and has also made his friends wait till i get out of work and such :)
were pot heads so we go on our smoking adventures all the time going to the beach or the park , buying arizona tea before we smoke .

i love it and the only problem is we spend more money on bud ., but other then that its amazing

I smoke a bit more than my girlfriend, and in more different situations, but we smoke together before bed pretty often, and we both really enjoy it. She's much less of a social smoker than I am because she kinda stops talking if she smokes around strangers. But when we're on our own, there's nothing better than a joint to stimulate some conversation or make sex better.

I don't think my relationship would be quite as good as it is if my girlfriend didn't smoke, but I've had good relationships with girls who didn't smoke too ... just not as good as this one.
