Joint rolling

meh, to each his own. There is a reason people pay me to roll joints for them, and it's that I do pay that much attention to it. Obviously, no one is paying you, so it really doesn't matter so long as you're happy.

As if you actually take money off people for rolling them joints?! I would feel pretty harsh about that as it only takes like 1 minute and you are hardly going out of your way or anything to roll it.

Ive been smoking for 10 years know and the first 7 of those I couldnt roll for shit, so I concentrated on the mix and always use half green, half tobacco and actually mix it together before it hits the rizla........my joints used to look shit but taste great.....now there just all round pleasing many senses great!!!

They're pre-rolled and sold retail, as I work at a medical marijuana dispensary. I have no qualms with what I do.

I use zigzag slow burning papers. I make them kind of skinny since I probably won't smoke the whole thing at once since I'm the only one I know that likes smoking them. I can't even imagine putting tobacco in it...only green.

I use an improvised bong now, but I used to roll joints all of the time. I generally used Bible paper, but I would sometimes use those papers that come in Altoid tins. I never bought rolling papers. I never mixed anything in, even tobacco. It was just weed. I also never used a roach.

I do have a tip for anyone who rolls joints, though. This is especially helpful if you're a beginner at rolling them. When you're putting the weed onto the paper, put a peice of computer or looseleaf paper under the rolling paper. This way, if you spill the weed, it's easy to clean up and put back in. We all spill the weed one time or another, so it makes sense to prepare for it.

And another tip: I see a lot of people just sweep any weed they're not using onto the floor. It's small amounts, like .1 or .2 grams. If you save all the leftover weed every time you smoke, you'll be surprised at how much you can get in a short amount of time.

i dont get that either. But im not complaining because the clinics here sell an 1/8 of shake for less than half the price of an 1/8th of nugs of the same strain. Youre gonna break it up anyway.

As for the question, i usually attach two papers together so it rolls twice as thick and burns better, and use only weed. I cant imagine mixing it with tobacco...crazy how different customs are.

well the thing with shake is...

generally, its the outer leaves of the bud which break/fall/shake off creating "shake"

the fan leaves on the plant contain the lowest amt of thc, and as you get closer to the bud, the plant matter contains more thc with the bud and trichromes being the highest.

usually shake is made up of mostly all the outer leaves unles its the result of extremely dry weed just crumbling up.

so I think it's pretty normal for shake to go for 1/2 the price as nugs..

i know I would be PISSED if I bought an 8th from someone and it was shake lol. shit better be half price

p.s. I HATE tobacco in my joints with a passion, it is just so gross

I smoke as little paper as possible.

2 blue/silver Rizla papers stuck together using a gum transfer then back rolled.

joints are like a last resort. blunts all the way if you're going to roll something. they burn way slower, and give a much better smoke i find. no sense in stacking all those rolling papers to make a decent joint.

also, most of the time my friends and i dont use a roach. if you got to, then put some of the stem of your bud at the end, but a roach is kind of unnecessary.

I use zig-zags 1 1/4 or king sized zig-zags. I use the inside out method to get the least amount of paper possible. I do not mix with tobacco. I do make a filter out of a cig pack or playing card or whatever.

I never used to make a filter but, it's really so much better. It smokes better and holds all the mj in.

Here's a video of exactly how I do it(not my video though). It's easier with the king-sized at first but, once you get used to it you can do it with 1 and 1/4 too if it's just for you. If you have a straighter roll you can actually burn off the excess by holding it upright and lighting the excess by the filter. If you do it just right the joint will actually light when it reaches the top which is a cool trick but, I mostly just cut it of with my pocket knife cause burning it does result in holes sometimes which usually result in starting over. Anyway this is the video

I can't roll to save my life.
When I do try its usually just putting the green in the middle of the zigzag paper and rolling it.
Normally I just take a pencil, roll the paper around it and then fill it up.
No tobacco though just green

1.25 paper, fill with as much weed as possible, lick, seal, another 1.25 paper at a 45° angle from the mouth (2nd paper> \| <1st paper & bud), wrap in a spiral around first paper, lick, twist end, enjoy! I prefer this two paper method because it burns slowly and more evenly (much less chance of canoeing) and it's much better for pre-rolling and taking with you as it's more likely to stay intact and not spill your buds all over your pocket or bag.

my hamster is a better at rolling joints over blunts because a pack of zig zags have 24 papers (and thats 24 potential tries to roll a decent joint) whereas a pack of blunts is about 5 blunts (obviously 5 potential tries to roll a decent blunt)

with sinsimillia (seedless) buds, my hamster loves the taste so joints are perferred.
with commercial buds, blunts are perferred so the blunt flavor overrides the schwag taste...

I always thought the tobacco was needed simply to ensure the joint stayed lit and there was less wastage?
Also, on VERY rare occasions I have had joints (not rolled by a pro like me of course) that for some reason, just don't pull! (As in, you suck with all your might but you only get a tiny bit of smoke). What would be a way to fix that if anybody knows?

Oh and to answer that question about the L shape before, I do roll them sometimes but generally roll 3 papers which are like 2 stuck together parallel and a third at right angles
