im so weak and its been a week

i have green bile stool that just wont stop (sorry i know its gross)

it feels like stomach acid is burning my stomach up

sharp pains in stomach

Sorry but you don't name the opiate you're withdrawing from. Is it oxycodone like your name suggests it? If you use the search engine you'll see there's a lot of meds which help for opiate withdrawal. Good luck ;)

If you're kicking Methadone or Suboxone, you can expect to have withdrawal for a while longer. With oxy and other shorter acting opiates I'd always be feeling better by day 7, but I know people who have withdrawals from that last up to 2 weeks.

As for losing weight, a couple months ago I kicked Suboxone which I'd been taking for 3+ years, I had zero appetite and could only eat milkshakes and stuff for 2 weeks. After that though, my appetite came back with a vengeance and I quickly put on the 8 pounds or so I lost. If your stomach symptoms don't go away as the withdrawal lessens though, its possible you could have some kind of stomach problem and might need to see a doc.

What exactly are you withdrawing from (and what dose)? It sounds pretty rough, I feel your pain man. Hang in there, it will get better soon.

Is it possible that you could have the flu or something in combo with the w/d's?
Have you been around anyone who's sick?

I would say this, but that's only because we don't know what opiate you are withdrawing from. As someone already said, if it's methadone or suboxone or something long lasting, the withdrawals will be much longer than other short acting opiates.

Let us know what opiate you're withdrawing from and we'll go from there.

^^^ Dont we all buddy.......I've gotten down from abot 75-90mgs a day to 48-60. Nothing great but its progress. I absolutely refuse to go through withdrawal so Im doing a big long 2.5 month taper at 10% per week.

This OP must be taking a long acting opiate.....I recommend the thomas method for detox if one is going off cold turkey. Ouch............

I remember when I was 15 and my parents lockee me in the house to detox co0ld turkey. They took me to the doctor and she took pity on me and gave me 60 valium and clonidine, it was still a fucking nightmare........couldn't imagine cold turkey.

If you're kicking methadone day 7 is just the beginning! And like loulou_reed said it would really be helpful to know some details such as the specific opiate you are kicking and how long you've been using it.

When it gets to be almost unbearable and you're doing it cold turkey, it might be wise to get ahold of some benzos so you don't cave in and use (opiates). Also Loperamide is helpful in these kinds of situations. Keep up the good work nonetheless ;)

roxicet dude - or what do they call that hilbilly heroin , hm

it could be possible that you developed some health condition that the opiates covered up during the last 4 years too

that doesn't sound normal ime.

why cant u go to a hospital or get on suboxone or methadone or at least get something to help? why are you roughing it?

Since the OP hasn't replyed, I'm assuming he caved and went out and copped something and got high. If he was not using methadone, it does seem really odd to be still kicking hard on day 7. Somebody mentioned that he might have had an underlying health condition that opiates were covering up....that could be the case

Since the OP hasn't replied, I'm closing this thread. There is no point in us sitting around speculating about something the OP doesn't really even care about. What a waste of our time.

Closed.
