Ex- oxycodone user (60 mg sniffed 3 days a week for 1 year) coming back to opiates after 3 years clean. Im thinking with starting off with 25 mg hydrocodone, think that will be enough with my built in tolerance or should i go higher. 125 pounds male.

After three years clean your tolerance should be way low, it never goes back to zero but yeah 25mg should be cool. See what happens, you can always add more not less!

Are you sure that you want to go back after three years clean?

Be careful and good luck.

why start the addicton all over?

Because something, whether childhood emotional trauma or genetic (my father was a heroin addict), left me with hole inside that has never been filled, that prevents me from being the best I can. That hole has never been filled by love, by friends, by music nor creativity. The only thing that fills it and makes me feel whole is opioids.

inb4 romanticism.

I don't know why people are questioning you- obviously we keep going back to these things (habits, addictions) for similar reasons. It's a cycle, and we all know that. It just sucks, that's all. It's more sad to see someone go for so long w/o and then fall again. Lack of understanding is silly, but thinking it's silly to go BACK is justified.

25mg should be just fine.

He obviously had good willpower and good control over his opiate habit. If theres anybody that has an argument to use opiates recreationally its somebody who uses 60mg's three days a week for a year and then stops one day for three-years. Leave the dude alone cyber-patrol.

As for the OP, your tolerance will be way down, you wont have much of any built in tolerance. You're not going to be able to use as much as you did before. Then again your past habit was pretty low. I would tell even the beginner to start at least 10mg's for a single use to get a nice experience. After that you can sort of judge where you can go from there.

I totally agree 60mg for 3 days a week for a year is very disciplined. Its usually a once a week thing or its more uncontrolled than that.
