FDA approves new OxyContin formulation designed to stop abuse

IDK where he is has been.


With a few chemicals and a bit of knowledge it's not hard to bypass the majority (if not all?) XR formulations.

Oh boo hoo you won't be able to just crush'n'sniff anymore.
 
Rules/guidelines/regulations were made to be circumvented....bottom line...trying to make a medication such as oxycontin which was a horriible invention analagous to sarin nerve gas and other engines of war we wish we could disinvent, tamper proof....is RIDICULOUS. I have heard rumors for several years of "pepper" pellets being inserted into oxycontin to prevent snorting/shooting/tampering period and OR a new formula which gells up when put into water making it impossible to IV...but these have never come to fruition and I have never heard hide nor hair of them since. This is very disconcerting news....as that I am currently prescribed and chemically dependent on the drug in question and this is a total bummer to me. please post any more updates that you can find...this really just happened on the fucking 6th??? 3 days ago?? FUCK me in the ASS.

It was sarcasm, but here's an exam:

A) Get all the oxycodone I want, cheaply and legally.

B) Roll my white ass into Overtown or the Pork 'n Beans every couple of days for a bundle and some works, risk arrest, risk being cut to pieces by AKs, etc, etc and still end up paying 3 times as much as for the oxys.

Have you ever been to the Pork 'n Beans?

After the pain clinics became more plentiful than mailboxes, demand for heroin in South Florida plummeted.

It didn't "just happen 3 days ago", a news article was reported on the 6th revealing the FDA approved the new formulation. That does not mean it has been produced on large scale yet or that there aren't still millions of the old formulations will in pharmacies and dealers stash. It will take some time still before the new formulation is mass produced and all of the old formula is sold, used or destroyed and replace with the new stuff.

So don't go getting all excited about this just yet, might wanna stock up and start weaning yourself off the snort, inject or crush and swallow method. Get used to using them as intended. If you normally crush a 20, maybe you ought to try taking two 20s whole instead.
