I have taken medication for ADD/ADHD since freshman year of high school, I am now in my second semester of my Freshman year of college. I have been prescribed: Adderall (both IR and XR), Focalin, Straterra, Daytrana, and Vyvanse. I was on Vyvanse 70mg/day for one month over the summer before going away to college and requesting to be put back on my Adderall( I liked getting 60 20mg capsules). With my last medication being Adderall XR where I was prescribed 40 mg/ day by way of 2 20mg capsules. I did not take my Adderall regularly last semester and often would insufflate the crushed up beads to study/ go out and party. I quit taking it for probably the last two months and was just getting the scripts filled.
Two days ago I went to the doctor and was put back on Vyvanse 70mg a day and Zoloft for anxiety and infrequent panic attacks. I was given 100 mg pills and told to break them in half for the first week.
I have been a frequent drug user since high school. I smoke marijuana daily and over the past few months have used; Psilocybin Mushrooms, LSD, MDMA in form of Ecstasy tablet and Molly, DXM, Opium, Crack/Cocaine, and many prescription medications such as Xanax, Klonopin, Vicodin, Percocet, and OxyContin. Lately I have been using mostly pain killers. I do not use them daily but will go on a binge usually once a week using over 100 mg of oxycodone. I haven't encountered any withdrawls from my recent painkiller use even if I go a few days without them but have developed a high tolerance it seems. I am not addicted to any one drug but love experimenting and trying all things.
So I am wondering if I should be cautious of starting these two medications at the same time since I can't tell which side effects belong to which medication such as louder hearing, diarrhea, light tracers, and teeth grinding/jaw clenching being the most annoying. I have not used any other drugs since starting my medications which I haven't missed a dose, other than the daily marijuana usage still. Any major recreational drug interactions I need to know about with this combo as my doctor wasn't very informative and I don't want to risk anything. Thanks
