people go up to philly all the time to get tanks filled. The tank itself is cheap.

The gas usually goes for something like $100 every ten pounds. The nitrous mob can be haggled with, but do so at your own risk.

DO NOT do nitrous from NOS tanks, it is automotive grade nitrous which contains impurities.

You want pharmaceutical grade or food grade at the very least.

Specifically they contain hydrogen sulfide which is extremely neurotoxic; one lungful can be fatal. Thankfully it's easily detected - just crack the tank & see if the gas smells like rotten eggs. If it does, you've just saved your life because that's the hydrogen sulfide you're smelling.
