Love, sex and the male brain

Just like to point out that none of those rebuttals disprove her assertions any more than her assertions can be claimed to be correct...

There is pretty substantial neurological and sociological research to back up her claims, and so what if it's fluffed up to be a good read? I think she presents a very useful analysis to explain male-female relationships in terms that both parties can understand and utilize in their day to day interactions.

No, they don't disprove what she is saying.

Just that she's taken large leaps off of shaky ground to make her claims. It's fun to read, but it's hard to give it any merit.

what I don't get is this: how can I be presented a problem and not try to fix it? commiserating doesn't really help anything in the long run, and fixing the issue will more than likely relive whatever tension is being percived.

You can come up with what you think will be a workable solution whenever and however you want. The key is knowing is if, and when, the woman wants your input on this. If she's receptive to your suggestions, phrasing and timing are everything.

In other words, dudes shouldn't just jump in whole hog with suggestions for how to put a quick lid on the problem, the minute a chick opens her heart about something going wrong with her, hoping that she'll just be like 'Oh, OK, I'll do that,' and drop the subject.

This article provides no science to backup its claims, just supposition. Just because someone has "Dr" in front of their name doesn't mean they get to say whatever they want.

Anyway... let the attacks on feminism and women continue. 8)

None of these socio-biological "studies" are ever accurate in the least. It is propaganda of some sort. Maybe just personal propaganda that resulted from Brizendine's baggage.

These things being pumped out about the socio-biological differences between men and woman are akin to the old pseudo-scientific racist garbage that was pumped out in days gone by.

Believe it or not, partnering up with someone of the opposite sex can be about much more than beastly mating rituals and creating offspring.

I also was a bit creeped out how someone was banned for making fairly relevant statements about this topic. This is vary much about the media promoted battle of the sexes, and it's a juicy topic because in America we are sexually frustrated and we aren't having good relationships because we were taught to be severe assholes.

Those posts were from 2010, I think it's probably safe to say this thread and the banning aren't correlated :)

everything I reed in this article is 100% true and I am male so I know how it is

I think ever women should read this, especialy about the poker face/hiding expression of emotions while feeling very strong emotions inside

men are like Kristen Stewart on outside,Intel inside

No, this article is stereotypical. Maybe true for some people's behavior, but it's not science, and it does not prove any hard anf fast rules about male behavior.
