Mephedrone Megathread VIII: Hnnnng!

The ban on imports will include all the chemicals listed below and any products containing these chemicals:

* 4-Methylmethcathinone (mephedrone);
* 4-Methoxymethcathinone (bk-PMMA/ methedrone);
* 3-Fluoromethcathinone;
* 2-Methylamino-1-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)propan-1-one (bk-MDMA/methylone); and
* 2-Methylamino-1-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)butan-1-one (bk-MBDB/butylone).

The ACMD report which will be used to amend the Misuse of Drugs Act has not yet been released publically.

Multiple bomb scares in ireland outside headshops recently... apparently governments do not negotaiate with terrorists... bet it gets banned here as well.

It's due for a ban in June, but I can't just get the train down to Dublin and get 10g of cathinones, can I?

Thank fuck I don't live in the NW although Derry is full of mephedrone I've heard - just like everywhere else.
 
The import ban takes effect immediately, customs have been ordered to seize and destroy the compounds listed above. Selling as plant food or bath salts now appears to be a grey area as trades description teams have been informed there is no known use for these chemicals in such ways. Possession is still legal until the Misuse of Drugs Act is amended, which will still take some time to come into effect, unless Home Office lawyers have found some route around the 40 day waiting period needed to implement a Statutory Instrument.

A certain website whose name I certainly won't mention has just started doing MDAI though. Which could prove interesting, as it's meant to be another similar one.
 
I seem to recollect MDAI from some time ago, my memory is fucked though will need to read up to make sure...I kinda recall not great things...but as i said, shit memory...i'll be back
 
Yeah I remember reading about it a while back, but seems like it never became available in large quantities. I guess now "they" will be looking to get alternatives to meph out on the market ASAP really, as the banning of meph is going to lose them shitloads of business.

I am pretty confident this is the exact reason that NRG-1/naphyrone has just started to become available from a number of vendors.
 
Has anyone mixed mephedrone with mdma? A couple of weeks ago I'd had a fair bit of mephedrone on the Friday night..then got hold of some mdma crystals on the Saturday. The other people I was with (who hadnt had mephedrone the previous night) said the mdma was really strong and clean..lots of euphoria etc. I didnt really get any euphoria...I just felt heavy and extremely fucked, still pretty nice but certaintly not an mdma high. I had some more mephedrone later the Saturday night/Sunday morning which seemed to perk me up quite a bit. I also had possibly the worst comedown ever.

I'm guessing because these substances are supposed to be similar then they probably both act on serotonin and that's why I didn't really get any euphoria on the mdma?

Also has anyone else noticed a ridiculously quick tolerance build for mephedrone? The first time I had it, I took a TINY bomb of the stuff and it absolutely floored me. Now I can quite easily get through a couple of grams..with not much of a comedown, unless I drink alcohol and I don't even have it that often really.

Yeah, probably spot on. That's another one I've not yet tried, but may do after reading up on it a bit more. I really, really, don't want to go back to MDMA or pills, even if the quality does start to improve. I just get such a shitty comedown from them now that it's not worth it for me any more.

Not really, I'm still doing pretty much the same dosages as when I first started (bombs of 200 - 250mg) and it's still doing the trick for me very nicely. It's quite easy to get through a couple of grams anyway, let's face it.

Meph seems to be a dopamine and seratonin releaser, dopapine kills sera cells which could explain why you, me and many others have lost the mdma magic. Check out nootropics on wiki, they might help
 
I'm a new user, and am wondering if this stuff will be good for studying / getting homework done. Like writing an essay I mean. I might be combining it with adderall, Idk. Is this a good idea?
