Speed and heart attack

stims have a calming effect on me. is that bad?

I'm the same way. That calming effect is only mental though. Speed will increase your heart rate and blood pressure despite any calming qualities it may have for you.

i find ritalin more "euphoric" than dextroamphetamine :\
does anyone else experience this?

i find insufflated methylphenidate more euphoric than dex
however, the ritalins are in 10mg IR tablets, whilst the dex is in 5mg IR tablets
i know this plays a factor, but i was under the assumption dex was much more potent...
anyone care to expand on this?
:)

both increase heart rate, for myself
however i find methylphenidate a tad more vasoconstricting (could be dose related)

i would steer clear of stimulants for sure
i'd rather avoid and crave stimulants than put myself at risk of another heart attack, life ftw ;)
marijuana and lsd also increase my heart rate, so they may be risky drugs for yourself

however, it would be naive to think a heart attack would change drug use (significantly)
so all i can say is, be careful, moderate your use and stay (or become) healthy - diet and exercise wise

goodluck man, stay safe
:)

cheers "thestudent14"
:)

have fun while you can, the ride doesn't last foever
only one decides whether you be a sheep, or a pioneer
will you traverse the road less-travelled by?

(:

D-amp is more potent than MPH, mg for mg. That doesn't mean much when comparing their effects though. While there are similarities between the two, they're different chemicals with different effects and modes of action. Put simply, d-amp triggers the release of dopamine whereas MPH blocks the reuptake of dopamine. MPH is more closely related to cocaine than it is to amphetamines.

D-amp is more subtle and smoother (less PNS effects) than MPH. It produces a sobering feeling, a powerful underlying surge of mental energy and clarity which can last a while. This is the nature of amphetamines, they're not in your face.

MPH however can feel more intoxicating and is shorter-lived. If using a faster ROA it can produce a 'rush' that d-amp lacks. That probably explains why you find insufflated MPH more euphoric. It's all personal preference though. I hate MPH myself and find d-amp to be superior both therapeutically and recreationally. Don't go chasing euphoria through stimulant meds though.

dunno if these happens to anyone else but i find weed from a joint never really raises my heart rate by that much.... especially compared to a bong

^^^^ J's are much more subtle... which is why most hardcore choofers don't bother with 'em... :p

pulling 3 big cones through a billy after having about 1/2 a gram of speed is heavily unadvisable to anyone - particularly anyone with a near-negligible tolerance to weed.... :\

Where there's smoke there's damage..........I smoked for 30 yrs king kongs, joints, ciggies.
I'm not going to be a preacher, by all means if your body can take it, get yourself in a place that makes you happy, just think if you can get dope into your system without smoking, might be worth the hassle.
Haha always easier to think like after a heart attack!!
