Police in Michigan say a 45-year-old woman with a cocaine habit let a 67-year-old man have sex with a 10-year-old girl she was caring for in exchange for the drug.
Angela A. Blackwell of Saginaw Township is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and pandering.

She remained in jail Wednesday pending a preliminary hearing set for March 30. Her lawyer did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.

Police are searching for Johnnie L. Griffin on first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct and firearms charges.

If convicted, the pair could be sentenced to at least 25 years in prison.

Such wanton disregard for human life is thoroughly disgusting.
If I were the girl's parent, I would want to murder these people.
Especially the woman, who was trusted to care for the girl.

25+ years in prison seems roughly appropriate, time-wise, if they serve that entire time.
If you believe that they can be rehabilitated in prison (...as if)
then that gives them time to come out on the other end and contribute something back to society.
Too bad they will probably be out in 10-15 years, though.
Too bad that they won't likely learn more respect in jail, as well.

Yeah, the most down voted comment on the first page is the one that says 'legalize drugs to rid of this.' Everything else, including the extremely racist comments get up voted. :\
 
Breitbart is a conservative Republican website that is often linked to from Drudgereport which is also a conservative Republican news gathering site. If you don't know already Republicans believe non-violent drug users are the scum of the Earth and deserve to rot in jail for long periods of time at the expense of letting violent sexual offenders out of jail.
 
terrible, though I don't agree with murder as appropriate for even the most heinous acts (i am against the death penalty:state sanctioned murder)

I wonder how much cocaine the woman got out of it, I doubt much. So sad and pathetic. I hope it was at least not violent.
 
I am just starting to realize how crazy that drug will make you. I have never had a coke problem myself but the times I have done it was nothing but crazy kinky sex that I would never imagine of doing otherwise. Terrible.
 
Generally speaking, you don't get into a Cocaine habit at 45 years of age -- I'm almost positive that this lady has been in the Coc game for a long time. That's not to say that what she did is right, it is disgusting and what she did makes me sick, I'm just saying that inorder to something of this proportion you'd have to be a very sinister person and have serious pre-existing mental issues, most likely due to your drug use.

1) we're animals
2) this sort of thing happened a lot before (and after) the advent of civilization
3) that doesn't excuse it. but the people are sick, not evil
4) punishment will repeat this very cycle. sex and violence do have a link (a reciprocal one)

hopefully we're communist enough to give the girl free counseling, and hopefully we aren't too taboo'd to screw her up more by explaining how much of an evil act she committed and how her body's a no no just like it's a no no to all the old pervy wankers and everybody else
