is alcohol an upper or downer for you?

Sure , scientifically booze is a downner and Cns depressant .

But with my experience I get quite stimulated and an upper effect when tipsy-drunk .

But when I'm hammered it's definitley a downer , no doubt about it .

Ok. I guess what ya'll are saying is that, at times, when under the influence of alcohol you have a feeling of being stimulated. Does this happen at the beginning of your drinking only, or can it happen after you have had several drinks?

It has been over a decade since I drank alcohol on a regular basis. Had to give it up because I was beginning to drink way too much. Unforunately I was one of those drinkers that drunk until it was all gone. My ex father in law got me moonshine by the gallon, brandy and corn liquor, and it was the genuine article from Wilkes County N.C. Anyway, I digress. As "a drink it till it is all gone" drinker, I never remember any stimulation from alcohol.

Btw, now I only drink on my birthday March 17th; St. Patricks Day. Each year it is a 5th of Bushmills Black Bush, the best liquor, outside of the 'shine, I ever put in my mouth!

upper until a certain amount, until i cross a certain line and end up trashed then it becomes a downer (for me, i don't give a fuck wether its technically a cns depressant or not)
