Mixing codeine with dextropropoxyphene

Anyone had any experience with this combination, or dextropropoxyphene on it's own?
I'll be taking around 170mg (CWE'd) codiene with 65mg dextropropoxyphene hydrochloride, are they safe to mix together?
 
Dude in all favors, leave the DARVON(dextropropoxyphene hydrochloride) alone.

This will add nothing to the mix at such a low dosage but added respiratory and cardiac depression.

You would have to be willing to desperately get high if you want to abuse Darvon (dextropropoxyphene hydrochloride)
 
Fair enough.

Found them in the medicine cupboard from a few years ago (pre 2007, as they were banned over here in that year) and thought I'd give them a try. Guess not then if they suck.

The only things they (Dextropropoxyphene) would be remotely useful for are, in small doses, taking them for withdrawal, or throwing them in old people's eyes before you mug 'em ;)
 
Ok I was gonna make a new thread but I found this one. Dextropropoxyphene does Jack shit on it's own for me. Maybe a very very mild buzz but that's it. Codeine can give me a fair buzz at 600mg but doesn't make me nod. Now the two combined 100mg codeine and 600mg dextropropoxyphene gets me nodding like a mofo and gives euphoria similar to heroin for me. Anyone else experience this? I find this phenomenon amazing. The feeling really can be compared to heroin. Even small doses codeine(40-20mg) can potentiate 500-600 mg dextropropoxyphene to a level at which heroin is for me. A friend of mine did the same with small doses of dextropropoxyphene (150) and large (200mg) dihydrocodeine and it had the same effect on her. Anyone who has had similar experiences or has the opportunity to try I urge you TRY IT. It was amazing for me.

The thought of anyone mixing darvon with anything scares me beyond belief.
 
The only thing Darvon is good for is suicidal overdoses. It's not even an effective painkiller.

Throw it out and eat the codeine alone.
 
Well assuming that dextroproproxyphene is the same as Darvocet, It sucks.
Personally 65mg aint shit but take it with that codeine to help you get higher.
Darvons are like WEAK tramadol. Some hate tramadol, personally, i love them, but still darvocet is about half the potentcy of Trams.

That's really a horrible piece of advice. Trying to get high from dextropropoxyphene is like playing with fire. 100mg codeine and 600mg dextropropoxyphene, jeez, I would urge people NOT to try it.

And since nobody has mentioned it in this thread yet, don't fucking ever mix dextropropoxyphene with alcohol. Not even small amounts.
