Does anyone actually refer to it as "meow meow"?

Never heard anyone outside of news reporters call it meow meow...I'd feel too stupid, when I could just say Meph, Drone, MCAT...you know, normal names.
 
No, I can't stand people calling it that.

IMO it's something the the media have invented to make it seem more sinister than it already is. "Dealers have started calling the drug meow meow, this is done to make the drug seem more user friendly to the younger generation, which in turn allows them to bring home more sales"

Wasn't it the title of a song, or a bit where the female singer sung: "They call me Meow Weow"?
I have to investigate. Usual fees, plus expenses.

edit: no I remember, it was "They call me Mellow Yellow" (the name of one of the first coffeeshops in Amsterdam BTW).

^lol. I don't know why but I found that to be mad funny, lou. Hahah.

I don't know anyone who calls it meow meow, either. Although I do hear people occasionally call Ketamine 'kitty' or 'kitty kat' or something to that degree. Pretty stupid.
 
Yeah everyone I know calls it meow meow (I live in the north west UK), when I say mephedrone or anything sensible they just look at me blankly. It annoys me when people don't inform themselves.
 
I call it "Catheter Catheter" or "Methadone" or "shrimp poison" or "fish food".

No, I don't nor have I ever heard anyone call it "Meow Meow". But I do call it "God's spunk".
Oh, also "Good ol' Franky Fuckface"
 
I first heard it being called meow back in june 09 had no idea what they were talking about. When it took of big time in the uk everyone in the SW I saw was calling it drone/mephedrone but because of the media I hear loads of people calling it meow at raves. What a shit name.
 
It's taken the rather affectionate name of 'mtwat' over here. =/ by the anti-users at first now the users..hah
 
The only place I've heard it be called that is in the UK ...

Right now there is huge hypes about meph , and all the media are calling it meow meow lol
 
There was a character in some kind of show in Edinburgh in 2007:

i know a couple crazy cat ladies who refer to many different things as meow meow


never even seen or heard of anyone using Meph IRL.

hear lots about it here on BL but even when i have brought it up amongst other well educated drug users i know IRL i usually end up having to explain its effects n such

so as far as i can tell, it isnt very popular in Tx but then again people in Tx have computers, maybe it just isnt big yet.

IMO cocaine is too available/moderatly priced for MEOW MEOW ( ;) ) to catch on here like it has in the UK
