Yeah, it was my sole thread of participation and primary thread of interest for a long while, even when I was taking breaks. Sucks, but I can't blame the mod decision at all. Some of the shit I've seen on there...well, I can only imagine it went even further, and people couldn't listen to warnings.

Everyone fucks up now and then, and it was lenient enough in there to get a couple warnings, but there's no excuse for trying to turn that thread into something else entirely, something completely beyond the scope of the thread and the site as a whole.

RIP stamp thread. You were a lot cooler and perhaps more innocent in your youth
 
If so many of you guys were into the stamp thread, why doesn't someone bring up a server and you can host your own offsite?

I never had any use for it personally, just a thought
 
this really blows. hopefully ppl still keep letting the mods know what bags are dangerous and shit so that we can keep preventing some ppl from getting hurt or dying. this thread was the reason i joined the site in the first place, luckily i found a few other places of interest here, but it'll suck not to be able to use my favorite part. bummer man

This has already been done. There is a site open now about STAMPS but its not getting a lot of traffic. I don't know if its appropriate for me to post the link here but if a Mod tells me its OK, then I will.
 
its a damn shame. bluelight mods could have done things to prevent this, but i knew it was coming.
 
what fucking rock did you just crawl from under? we did everything in our power to keep the thread opened and operating. you have no idea what happened, and it was well out of our reach and powers to have prevent it.

i don't really appreciate being blamed for something that wasn't our fault, something you have no idea about it.
 
lolz. I Do happen to know about the thread. I was an avid observer and occasional poster in that thread, leftwing. no need to express aggression when you say such things.

now, I dont want to open up a can of worms if it doesnt need to be. especially since my opinions, if stated, could get me retaliated upon by mods.

the thread could have been saved if staff stepped it up a notch. ill leave it at that.
please no retributions, I love this forum. just voicing my opinions

leftwing - stop getting so defensive and taking it personal, my friend. for goodness sake we are talking about a thread!

the stamp thread was fucking great, and it was closed because on a few occasions noobs asked for dope sources. it was closed because people asked for street corners and cop spots. if i am wrong, correct me! this is for clarification.

I do remember numerous warnings and edits of foolish posts.

So as I see it, mods got tired of moderating the thread. noobs would come in and ask for street names and such and all they had to do is temp ban them and/or edit their post.

right or wrong?
 
amblerg you are wrong that is not why it was closed, there was much worse stuff going on.

even if there were 10 mods it would have been hard to stop...people have to use an honor system and a lot of peole fucked it up

you're like talking to a brick wall. YOU'RE WRONG! and nowhere near the mark. so why don't you stop making an ass of yourself and taking stabs in the dark as to why it got shot.

of course i'm going to take offense when you're accussing us of being lazy and not wanting to moderate the thread - that's the furthest thing from the truth. we moderated the fuck out of that thread, you have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.

i'll say it one more time - what went on was not something we could stop. we could have had 1000 mods on looking after the thread and wouldn't have been able to prevent it.

It was somethin that was WIDE SPREAD, ORGANIZED to some extent, and it took away the credibility of the ENTIRE thread. People was being greedy and tryin to benefit them selfs, from a thread meant to help OTHERS. Becuz of those ppl, the whole thread purpose was compromised, and the reviews didnt evne mean shit any more. It was bein used to do some wrong shit, and the existence of the thread , just bein there, made those things be possible to continue. It was not just one or 2 ppl. It was more than that, and the shit that was goin on was bad enough that it was a real actual risk to people IRL. SO, ....That should explain it more, I already said thats the explanation and we aint gotta get into specific shit for yall to understand that its closed for reasons of extreme fucked-ded updedness
