Not sure if this is how it's spelled, but it's a molecule similar to LSD to relieve cluster headaches. Has anyone heard of it? I heard about watching a program on National Geographic. Peter Coyote was narrating it too lol.

Read his post, thiz. ;)

2-Bromo-LSD or BOL must be your 'guy'

Thanks, Thizz, I didn't even think to check out Erowid. Should have been my first search. Where would we be without erowid.org?

Better off, honestly. See: pro-drug propoganda. See also: echo chamber for pro-drug bullshit (most of the time)

v1c, there is not all that much info on Erowid on what you are looking for unless you specifically search for the compound you seem interested in. I'm pretty sure the stuff with Peter Coyote is BOL a.k.a. 2-Bromo-LSD.

Not that the drugs listed by thiz, or in the chemicals list from his Erowid link aren't great drugs, but they have very little to do with the cluster headache medicine BOL, since that is not or little psychoactive, IIRC.

The program, as its narrator, Peter Coyote, says, is an attempt to separate the myth from the molecule.

A few segments on research:
Cluster headaches - using Bromo-LSD which is non-hallucinogenic. A study in Germany found it helped 5 out of 6 patients to relieve the intense pain and improve quality of life.

Thanks for the information, Bomboclat and Solipsis. The program didn't mention any analogue, but one made from LSD. I thought Peter Coyote narrating it was funny because he was on of the actors who's a big advocate in LSD and I believe still is.

Erowid is always the first place I look. Thanks for the links, guys (or gals because it's often hard to tell a sex by a name or a small pic), you answered my questions as thoroughly as a chemist - lol.

Fingers crossed i get accepted into the study these damn headache/Face pains are making me lose the will to live. Well i lost the will to live a long time ago Thank God for Psilocybin.

Yes i'v grown about 5 or 6 different strains they did help but not enough to make a great improvement in my life, they didnt do much for the pain but the suicidal tendencies were greatly diminished i had a real hard time for a year or two. I didnt even tell anyone i had them because i couldnt explain the pain in my face to anyone i thought they'd think im crazy after a few trips and lot of minimal therapeutic doses i could cope so much better i can honestly say without psilocybin i would of killed myself a long time ago and thats the truth.
Its funny i can go down the road and buy a beer what will make my face hurt for about 2 hours or i can do illegal mushrooms and be pain free and happier wheres the sence in that.
