Liberal Opposition says 'Ecstasy not a risk'...labor labels 'soft on crime'

You're right hello.

Neither of the major parties would be interested in reasonable drug reform. I like the Greens policies on drug reform but I'm a bit weary of some of their other policies. However, at this election I am inclined to give them my vote as a protest vote of the major parties 'dumb the nation down' policies.

Regardless of that Rann needs to be moved on, if he wins another election the state will take another 10 steps backwards.

wasn't it the libs that were proposing a bong ban?
I believe that was the Victorian Liberals, not the SA Liberals. Policy varies from state to state, and even from the federal party. I'll stop now, as I'm about to rant about how Australia has far too much government.

Welcome to politics folks, where the person who can manipulate best usually wins. Unfortunately coming out with any pro-drug (wrong term, but whatever) stance is political suicide right now.

The liberals came out with a bong ban policy in SA a few yeares ago. Mike Rann has since banned all bongs in SA which is another reason to vote the c#&$#&$ out.
