My boyfriend saved his puppies with marijuana

Huh. Now my own comment has me curious. Has anyone else ever heard of the ear as an ROA for pets such as cats and dogs, and if so, is it a viable method? If it is, it would likely be a good way to sidestep the issue that was brought by psychomimetic.
 
I've often heard ear hits can get animals stoned. Never really tried it, though.

Friend of mine used to use a power hitter and every so often blow the smoke at his cat. The first hit it didn't care for, the second it liked, and after the third the thing halfway raped his face trying to get at the power hitter before he did lol.
 
Umm did you ever talk to a vet concerning their health?
Before or after this?

Did I miss that somewhere?

It could be that their stomachs were in pain for some reason which made them have no appetite for food or water. When your boyfriend gave them the marijuana it made them feel better so they were able to drink.
 
I've seen a dog eat a human dose Brownie. It wasn't fed to her she just stole it. She was noticeably high. So high we were afraid for her safety and afraid she'd freek and kill us (Shepard/husky mix). About 2 hours in she vomited lot and I mean a lot. From there on out she seemed fine.

Anyways I think we've all blown a hit at a pet. I don't really think it does anything though. I've seen animals high. Its not pretty. They don't appear to be having fun. I think people forget that they are high when they do this.
 
Man my kitten is high on life, he ain't needing no puffs in the face to have fun, keep that to yourself seeing as you actually have a CHOICE in the matter.
 
My friend did the same to her toddler when he was on death's door. Sounds fucking barbaric but it was an act of desperation and the wee lad is a healthy happy 8 year old now....
Not advocating it as sound medical practice but, you know. Saved his little life.
 
Well there is of course a big history of medicinal marijauna in humans, but the fact is still there that if your pet isn't dying then you can't justify it as they have no say in the matter. It's like giving some one a brownie that doesn't smoke weed with out telling them it is full of weed. Is this fair on a person? No. So unless your dog/cat starts toking for himself then leave him/her be.
 
why is that? what if your pet comes up to you every time you light a joint? sounds like they have a say in the matter to me.
 
Well the day my cat does that i'll happily toke up with him, but he generally runs away and hides from any form of smoke at all.
 
that's your cat though. My dog does the same thing, and I don't smoke her up. but both my buddy's dog and his cat always come running when we light up there (and for a while, the neighbour's cat used to climb in the window), and we always share with them.
 
Haha interesting. Just like some people run when you whip out the billys and toke a few. My kitty is clearly on the straight and narrow ;)

What's wrong with offering them a choice in the matter too? You do it once, see if they like it, and then they have a choice. I've seen a lot of high animals, and I've seen a lot of them dig the high and come back for more later. They have brains just like us, what makes you think they wouldn't like pot and want to get stoned just like us? The reason animals seem unhappy so often when they're stoned is because people hurt the shit out of them by blowing too much smoke at them.

Also to Johnny Blue, the dog was probably unhappy and sick because they ate a brownie, and that's how dogs act after eating a lot of chocolate. If anything the pot would have made the dog vomit less (unless it was allergic or something, and I don't know if dogs really have allergies like that).
 
my dog is like an old man with artharitis. hmmmmmm i might discuss this with him before doing it.
 
Yeah, about the dog eating a brownie... I understand it wasn't fed to him purposely, but you should never let a dog eat chocolate. Their bodies lack a certain enzyme or enzymes necessary to digest chocolate, and it can kill them.
