In theory yes it might be active for a lightweight with a low tolerance but the whole thought of consuming the tars and by products that are left after smoking the majority of the good stuff out of the herb is quite gross and sickening. Don't do it mate, just wash that shit down the drain when you clean your pipe.

I notice when i clean my pipe in a baggie with iso and salt, i get distinct layers forming after it sits....
There is a salt layer ,then an dirty water layer, with ash particles floating between it and the layer of tar/iso..... It seems to have cleaned out the resin .....maybe if one evaporated the alcohol layer one would be left with a substance that may or may not get one high... It would be cleaner than smoking resin...
