The time release is THROUGHOUT every OxyContin pill.
You have to thoroughly crush it to get around it.

BLOW and SNORT mean the same thing... so what do you mean by blow?

My brother had the same ones and got totally fucked off them. I was on the phone to him just as he had taken it and he went into a full on nod during the conversation, was pretty funny!

Also tried some hydromorphone, which I got a good rush from, but fucked the procedure up, then a day later someone posted the perfect way to prep this particular type of pill!
 
A couple questions about taking oxycontin

I've been doing some research on alternate methods of taking oxycontin. I have snorted and taken oxycontin orally. I am interested in plugging as well as soon as I get a syringe. I was wondering if crushing up an oxycontin pill and putting the crushed powder into a capsule would be as effective as parachuting. Has anyone tried this? Also, would putting crushed up oxycontin in a capsule and rectally administering it be anywhere near as effective as plugging with a syringe? Any feedback is welcome.

Yep, swallowing a capsule of crushed Oxy is virtually the same as parachuting it in a piece of, say, toilet or tissue paper. The absorption rate might be a liiiittle slower than with a piece of TP because the capsule will dissolve more slowly.

As for plugging the capsule being as effective as plugging a liquid solution, the solution ought to be much more effective; remember, your anal cavity doesn't have all the digestive juices and enzymes of the stomach, so breaking down/evenly distributing oxycodone powder in the rectum would be difficult and would take a while.

Don't plug a capsule. Your colon acts to pull fluid out of your poo. If you're plugging you need to plug a solution.

puting the powder in a capsule and plugging would take away the entire point of plugging. your colon would have to break down the capsule which would take time. the point of plugging is to get the instant effect and a rush at the same time. also i never understood why someone would parachute the powder, why not just swallow the powder by itself?

just crush the powder and draw it up into a needless syringe, add water and take a blast up your anus. instant relief.

Im guessing people parachute just to get over the taste of pill powder. I know I couldn't just swallow all the powder needed to get me to nod (~120-140mg). I would much rather just snort it, but I would rather put it in tissue and swallow it then just swallowing the powder...

I am all for snorting...but can you explain how anyone "couldn't swallow" 120-140mg of oxy powder????

Put wate rin your mouth, dump oxy in, swallow, how hard is that?? Even if you were dumping powdered dog shit in your mouth I don't see how you couldn't swallow it
 
Id rather swallow the powder as well, if I do that I usually put the pill under my tongue, take a small drink of something and let the liquid also sit under my tongue to dissolve the pill quicker and then just swallow it as it or after it dissolves. If the taste is the problem then parachute, people swear by it. But with OC I always just blow it.

I don't know what people are on about when they say "O well snorting OxyContin makes it go right to yer lungs". This is probably true to people who don't know how to rail that shit properly.
If I have an Oxycontin 20 (which is my personal hot spot), I'll split it into thirds, I'll crush one third very very finely and repeatadly until it is just powder, I then seperate it into two lines.
I snort one line up each nostril, but I don't snort hard, just enough to get it into my nasal passage.
I then snort a small amount of water in each nostril, tilt my head up, and let the remaining oxycodone/fillers go down to my stomach.
If you know how to snort properly, Intranasal Oxycodone I HIGHLY DOUBT could cause lung problems, but yeah, if you blow the fuck out of it, it could happen I think.
I've been using Oxycodone and Codeine for about 6 months, NEVER more then twice a week..
I've had pretty severe addiction problems in my life (Methamphetamine, Benzodiazepines) But I don't find these to be addicting the same way others do. I metabolize Codeine in a different way then most people do, so 60 mg of codeine would feel 'similar' to 15 mg of Oxycodone to me.
Oh for sure they are addicting, but the side effects for me, the price, and the fact that I love my low tolerance prevents me from using daily.. I don't see how I could possibly enjoy them if I used daily :/



Also, I've used Oxycodone, Morphine, Hydromorphone, Codeine, Pethidine, Methadone, Tramadol, and Propoxyphene.
The only ones I found recreational/really all that enjoyable/euphoric were Codeine, Pethidine (plugged), and Oxycodone.
I only tried Dilaudid after I quit injecting for good a while ago.. Intranasal produced a very impressive rush, but it was a paper tiger, it couldn't support itself for more then 20 minutes :/
Morphine caused severe histamine release, intense vomiting, and seroquil like sedation for me.
There was some euphoria mixed in there, but I was completely fucking out of 'er, the others I didn't enjoy had side effects/lack of reinforcing effects..

One more thing, I'm looking at my post and it looks like something I'd write while Spun :D.
Oxycodone can do that to me, the simeotaneous (sp) sedation, but strong stimulation is quite unique but very pleasurable.
 
Why does snorting Oxycontin get ZERO EUPHORIA compared to other routes?

So, SWIM is trying to figure out the reason why snorting Oxycontin does not cause any Euphoria compared to taking Oxycontin orally. For example, if SWIM takes 40mg crushed (or even not crushed) orally, SWIM will experience moderate to good euphoria and pain relief whereas if SWIM snorts 40mg - 60mg then SWIM might get slightly drowsy but will NOT experience ANY Euphoria and only minimal pain relief. SWIM crushes the Oxy into a fine powder to snort and has tried everything from dividing small lines up and snorting them periodically over time to snorting the entire 40mg - 60mg or more at one time. SWIM simply does not understand why SWIM can't get any Euphoria from snorting. SWIM certainly knows how to snort things and has experience successfully snorting other substances to get full effect.

u want the powder to sit in ur nasle cavity for a lil while

dont use SWIM or SWIY or whatever

Anyways, is it possible that something is going wrong/different as far as metabolism by snorting vs oral? As far as a hose clamp and the powder being fine enough or not, there isn't an issue in that regard as the powder is surely fine enough.

So, is there any techniques to keep the powder in the nasal cavity for some time or any other techniques to help? It is just so very strange that no Euphoria can be gained. It just doesn't seem like the method/technique for snorting this in the way that it's being done could be the cause, but who knows.
 
Well the Oral BA is quite a bit higher then intranasal BA

but being that i myself am an Oxy snorter i dont see why u wouldnt be feeling ne thing

um, tricks to keep it up there. just snort slowly n not hard, and also try not to swallow for awhile after snorting

i find that swallowing always allows some to drop i mean it is a pain n the ass n these techniques improve the experience minimally i dunno what to tell u about not feeling any of it

also get some saline solution n spray some in your nose before each bump n about 20mins+ after

if u cant get high off oxy doin those things then i dunno what to tell ya
 
The very first reason is that you are "wasting" medicine, so to speak. By snorting, you are getting less of the medicine into your body. Also, your nose cannot break down the wax matrix that has trapped the oxycodone into its time release form (a.k.a. OxyContin™).

Also, no matter how much crushing, grinding, shaving, (and other words that end in "ing" ) that you do, you still haven't freed up ALL of the oxycodone from the aforementioned wax matrix. It isn't really a hard and fast rule. Did you free up 70% of the oxycodone? 80%? More? Less? But, I can be sure of one thing, you didn't free up 100%.

So, you have a weaker delivery method (inhaling) coupled with getting less total milligrams.

.. and that's why snorting OxyContin™ sucks. Just crush and swallow. You'll get that initial rush followed by the rest of the medicine being released over time.

By the way, are you licking off the outer (color) coating? It hasn't been mentioned but that is step number one when it comes to crushing up OxyContin™.
