Whatsup sup, I recently came across some Hycodan "Hydrocodone Bitar" 1mg / per 1ml... I read up on a opiate conversion chart and had read it incorrect which led me to belielve hydrocodone was stronger than oxycodone mg per mg and I went ahead and traded him a 40mg oxy for 40mg of the syrup he had left. After pounding back the syrup and doing along with a little oxy before and afterhand I was pretty disappointed as I was ready to nod but sadly not so much... Anyways next day I read up on the conversion chart again and realized I had read incorrect shitty buzz ehehe.. anyways question was it contained Hydrocodone Bitar wondering if this is equal to the average hydrocodone...
 
most hydrocodone pills are the hydrocodone bitartrate salt form, so yes, they would be equivalent. hydrocodone is weaker than oxy, both in terms of binding strength and oral bioavailability, so no wonder you were disappointed.

That formulation, "Hycodan", not only contains hydrocodone, but also contains something called "Homatropine Methylbromide" - which is a chemical that will induce nausea and sickness if you attempt to take too much of the medication. It has no benefit - it's only there to discourage people from trying to get high off the stuff...

Also - hydrocodone bitartrate is the longer-lasting formulation of hydrocodone... Longer lasting than the HCL and any others.. I don't know why, but the bitartrate allows the hydro to be converted into more morphine in vivo, or something.
 
You traded OxyContin for some cough syrup? Bad move. I hope you don't make that little error again, as hycodan is useless for anyone with an opioid tolerance- as is "yellow tuss" (tussionex) which is hydro and Chlor-Trimetron and the antihistamine blocks abuse.
The reason for these additional actives is to preserve the CIII status of the product, in the same way hydro pills are made with NSAIDs or APAP. But at least you can CWE pills, I'm not aware of anything you can do to extract the hydro from this syrup.
 
no, the Hycodan in Canada does NOT have homatropine, i've had Canadian hycodan plenty of times. it's straight up hydrocodone syrup, and it actually tastes delicious.

however, here in the US, it DOES have homatropine (very unfortunate).

hydrocodone is the best man, better than oxycodone in my experience.
it just sucks that its always mixed with a shit load of acetaminophen or some other junk, limiting its abuse.
 
IME and IMO hycodan/hydromet is the best hydrocodone syrup.

a lot of people will say that tussionex is, but i have done both tussionex and hycodan/hydromet and the latter wins out. tussionex has a lot of hydro but its time released and can not be defeated, so you have to take more than you normally would and IMO this increases the chance of OD

i have always found that oral hydro is equal to snorted oxy due to oxys lower ba when snorted
 
Why does everyone bug the fuck out about homatropine? Sure, it's nothing good, but honestly, unless you have a mild tolerance to hydrocodone, you don't have to worry about it.
 
Since hydrocodone is almost inexistant in Canada (they'll script Dilaudid and pure codeine pills WAAAYYYY easier) I have no idea what kind of dosage i should take. Of course the script says 5mg/5ml, which i intend to follow later.

But for now, i want to get high, when I had pure codeine pills for this bronchitis/pneumonia, i dosed 220mg and i was in nod-land. I've taken 35mg of hydro syrup right now and hrm...well, i'm not really high at all. When can I redose and what is a good dose for somebody who's used to 200mg+ of codeine. Thanks.
 
so 220mg of codeine gets you nodding but 35mgs of hydro doesnt?

220mg of codeine=22mg of oxy=33mg of hydro, maybe your tolerance is bigger than you thought?

you can redose any time, i always found waiting around 6-8 hours to get best results

I agree with everything you've pretty much said other than the part about tussionex being useless, I get prescribed tussionex all the time, usually an 8 oz bottle, and that shit gets me higher than the 10mg norco's I'm prescribed on a reagular basis. That's pure bullshit about the antihistamine in it blocking the high or making it so you don't abuse it. for every 5ml there is 8mg of antihistamine, which your not supose to take more than 24mg in a 24 hour period. I've had as much as 75ml at one time and never have had any adverse side effects from it. Other than getting high as hell that is, if anything the antihistamine in it makes the hydro high in it that much better. I enjoy taking 60ml of tussionex which is like 120mg of hydro, way more than taking 12 10mg norco's (CWE of course). the high is just way better plain and simple. The best part of tussionex is that it is time release like oxy's so it lasts for 12 hours, and when you take it in high doses like I do, I can feel the high still up to 36-48 hours later.
 
Just to say that Hycodan 5mg pills do not contain anything else than Hydrocodone in them, the pills are really tiny, no tylenol or homatropine or whatever in them, i'll post a picture later, i got 30 of them for incessant coughing.
 
hydrocodne is hydrocodone bitrate...theres really no other salt structures other than that on the markey from what know

and if 40mgs didnt get u high, the kid def traded u fake shit. did u look it up? always look up what ur about to put into urbody
